(Headline USA) During an appearance Monday on The Tonight Show, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said voters who were upset about having to choose between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in this year’s election rematch needed to “get over” themselves.
Host Jimmy Fallon asked Clinton—who was there, ostensibly, to promote a Broadway show—what she would tell voters who were upset about having the same choices as in the 2020 election.
“Get over yourself. Those are the two choices,” Clinton responded, summarily disregarding the robust field of third-party candidates, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as three who are actively running against Biden in the Democratic primary.
Part of it is that it's fashionable to have mental illness / be a victim on the left. And it's fashionable to be "tough" on the right. So there is some selection bias... there might be tons of people on the left faking a condition for attention, and there might be tons of people on the right with issues who would never see a professional.I've heard of this correlation before, but usually it's highlighted on the female side which does appear to show stronger numbers in the graph. There has been quite high numbers of mental illness or mental health issues among the trans community as well, often (but not always) stemming from abuse at a young age. Such was the case with my niece who was abused by her own father and struggled with her identity in her younger teens. In any case, I think we're going to see a greater need for mental health services in the coming decades.
My own experience has been that both sides seem to have a rather normal perception of genuine problems in the world, but those on the Left seem to have an additional "it's the end of the world and this is the worst thing ever" meltdown over a lot of other things that isn't generally seen on the Right. They just seem highly stressed and overreacting to some things.Part of it is that it's fashionable to have mental illness / be a victim on the left. And it's fashionable to be "tough" on the right. But what's hard to argue with is the rate of depression and suicide on the left versus the right. It goes up, up, up the further left you get.

A quick peak at the app store will show you how much demand there is for mental health right now. The number of apps alone for that is eye opening.I've heard of this correlation before, but usually it's highlighted on the female side which does appear to show stronger numbers in the graph. I apologize for the scary eating of the sun by the moon next week. I caused it by looking at titties on the Internet and saying fuck.

GOP should do this and then just shovel the taxpayer money back to right wing donors. It would be the same thing as the climate spending, but would offer equal results. If we give more money to politicians, maybe they can stop the shifting of tectonic plates?

“If I use it in six years, in a recession, forgive me,” Newsom said.
At his urging, Newsom and lawmakers have agreed to use the budget gimmick next year even though California isn't in a recession.
But he'd be such a great Presidential candidate! Pay no attention to the massive budget deficit and the learning loss children experienced during Covid in his state. He's a good looking guy and he has a nice smile. That's what's really important.![]()
Newsom called it a 'gimmick.' Now he's using the trick to lower California's massive deficit
With a massive budget deficit in California, Gov. Gavin Newsom is adopting a 'gimmick' he previously reversed in an effort to push the problem forward into future years.www.yahoo.com
