I get you. My wife wanted to buy some more land here in Tenessee. I decided to buy some land in Scotland instead. Surprisingly low price. Now we have the official title of Lord(Laird)and Lady due to having land ownership in Scotland.

Now I'm not telling you guys to start calling me Lord Sea Turtle on here now. But I'm not telling you not to either.
Lol.

Nothing wrong with Red Lobster. I’m just saying for a special occasion,….

My oldest had her b day dinner a few weeks back and her first suggestion was red lobster,… it’s her dinner do whatever but I was like,… this is no child of mine.

She switched to a decent Texas steakhouse at the last minute so my faith was restored
A great example of a parent realizing they raised their child wrong

The schools issue is definitely a thing. For most of 2020 and part of 2021 we spent in a different school district with no in person learning. The remote classes were a joke unfortunately. My daughter was already in the top percentile in her class so she survived fine, but my youngest was starting Kindergarten after we decided to hold him back till he was 6. He was getting about 1 1/2 hours of a Zoom meeting each day where they spent half of this time doing "brain breaks" like playing videos and "the floor is lava." Once we got off work we had to try and cram almost a full days worth of activity sheets between dinner and bed. There just wasn't enough time for two working parents. When my daughter was in Kindergarten she had free reading she had to do after school, but there was no time for that with my son.

We got out of there at the beginning of April 2021 and moved to a district that had in person learning. My son was behind those other kids for 1st grade and he's just now starting to catch up in 2nd grade. He went from failing last year to B's and C's so far this year. We're still working with him to catch him up, but it's been a huge commitment for all of us. I'm hoping he can eventually get to a good place like his sister... otherwise I'll have to settle for him playing OT at tOSU and not ND.
Yeah I think the bell is tolling on the school stuff

Yeah, I'm just not real trusting of "replace it with something better" without more details. A lot more details.
I’m sure more would come out before anything happened, but TBH I don’t think anything will ever be done.

Just reporting the facts, or the facts they want you to hear.

"Believe us, he was an intruder that broke in." I know I always walk towards dangerous intruders when the police are at the door. Also, this same NBC story was later pulled because "It didn't meet the network's journalistic standards." Makes sense when it contradicts the narrative.

I don’t know what the whole scoop is here but it just seems that there are some details of the overall story that aren’t clear. Glass outside the door, strange account of Pelosi‘s behavior and then the report is pulled? Not saying it’s some sort of conspiracy but there has to be more to this incident. We’ll probably never know since it will be shrouded in secrecy. It could be that Pelosi was toasted and that impaired his reaction.

All that, plus the intruder supposedly got past a high-tech security system, trained guard dogs, and security cameras. Not sure what was going on, but yeah, we're definitely not getting the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so far. It will be interesting to find out what was really going on if it ever comes out. I'm not sure what is being covered up, but something is.

For all we know Pelosi is bisexual and Depape was his love interest……and a spat occurred. I don’t really believe that and say that at least partially in jest but I also have zero doubt that if powerful people want to control a narrative, they will.

We need body cams, calls, security footage, and detailed first hand accounts. We must understand this threat to democracy.

I also need an explanation of this.

This thread^. Bidens economy is great. I’m doing the best I ever have.

Sure, if you take away the record high inflation, record high gas prices, and flirting with recession...yeah the economy is strong as hell. Insert old senile man eating ice cream.

My money says the jobs numbers are more of a correlation to the country reopening after 2020 than it is the Biden admin policies, which have been a disaster.

What about that measly GOP job creation since Reagan. 😅

That's an inspiring message.
It's an unfortunate answer to a crappy question. My question would be why would Republicans need a plan for inflation if Biden signed the inflation reduction act? We're good here! Let's move on to crime, the border, and energy policy hahaha.

Furthermore, any Republican plan on anything is a waste of time until 2024. Biden will veto anything that hits his desk. It's a moot point.

If Biden is just going veto everything then why run on anything at all. At least give your base something to believe in.

He is so jealous of DeSantis, or any Republican for that matter, getting any of the spotlight. I can't wait for DeSantis to expose Trump for the fraud that he is on the debate stage next year. Unlike Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio, I don't see DeSantis backing down and taking it. I expect DeSantis to call him out for losing to Biden, worshipping at the alter of Fauci (Trump called out Brian Kemp for keeping GA businesses open), and for helping hand the 2 Senate seats to the Dems by advocating for GOP voters to boycott the runoff.

Trump will make this about him and try to put the light back on him as fast as possible.
GOP needs a sacrificial anode to go out in the primaries and run and just throw Trump under the bus hard until he loses a chance. DeSantis is 1000x better for the party and country. I'm with the guy who will win Florida by double digits.
