Democrats flipped 41 seats in 21 counties on Tuesday in Georgia. All I hear about is the Clintonian getting "shellacked" by 66k votes for Governor in Virginia, though.

Hmmm.

The media kind of sucks. Not that that I want them put on trains to death camps or Gitmo though. Guess that's just how I was raised. Anyway, carry on with the newest culture war against Big Bird. Looking forward to dropping Critical Kyren Theory on the Cavs this weekend.

Cheers.

The national media rarely reports much on state rep and state senator elections.

I looked at some of these amazing wins. They touted Mayoral wins in Cairo, Stone Mountain, Hampton and McDonough. Average population for those 4 cities 12,000. Cairo wasn't even a real flip as the guy who got elected Mayor was previously the mayor before he had to resign to run (and lose) a State Senate campaign. Average turnout for these races .... 18% LMAO

Good for the Dem's in flipping some City Council seats etc etc. I have no idea how many municipal seats were up for election state wide, but it would seem that a net gain of 30 (Republicans must have flipped 10) doesn't seem to be very significant.

Georgia Dems puffing out their chest like they really accomplished something significant.

I looked up the 41 seats they flipped. They're counting mayoral elections in small towns and other rather minor offices too. And they're not counting any offsetting Republican flips (there were 6). They gained a net 35 offices in Georgia, but mayor of a small town, a state representative, or a seat on the county planning commission aren't exactly national news.

At what point should we expect your response to the original question? We're close to a week now to a fairly basic question.

Bonus points if you can supply relevant, direct answers without questions and Bible quotes.

Let me direct.

I believe in free speech.

I posted a quotation, by a famous author, about the natives.

Your response was to ask me to sell our properties.

On what planet does that make sense.

I think you are bugged by free speech, or by anyone who says something that doesn't fit your profile.

It seems you struggle with the marketplace of ideas.

Haha yep, I'm really known around here for my hatred of free speech. You're struggling with memory. A few posters asked if you were going to sell your house (you still haven't responded) but I wasn't one of them. Just curious why it takes several days to get a basic "yes" or "no" response.

Dems got clowned in Virginia. There isn't a way around it. Pair the results in New Jersey and it tells you even more.

If the midterm environment hasn't drastically improved, 2022 will be a bloodbath

I thought it might be lively in here today and did not disappoint.

I am amazed anyone is left in NJ to vote red - I thought they all moved to Florida and the Carolinas by now.

Help me out here, I get a little confused by facts.

Who was the governor of the State of New Jersey from 2010-2018. What was his/her political party?

How many
Congressional representatives from New Jersey?
What is the party background?

In the words of Jack Webb, jes' the facts, jes the facts.

We're still waiting on yours as to whether you're going to actually back up your beliefs and principals and give back your stolen land, or whether you're going to continue posting goofy, rambling, nonsensical drivel in an attempt to avoid explaining why you're so bothered by sea pirates stealing land from natives, but aren't actually going to give yours back. Instead of lecturing others and preaching to them, lead by example. Give your stolen land back to the natives it was taken from.

Well, I feel that I must clarify the position. Because I am always fascinated by "internet studio gangsters" who call out people.

So, I CAN"T WAIT to see your response to the rest of the story!!!!!

The teachers told the children that this was when their continent was discovered by human beings. Actually, millions of human beings were already living full and imaginative lives on the continent in 1492. That was simply the year in which sea pirates began to cheat and rob and kill them.

Here was another piece of nonsense which children were taught: that the sea pirates eventually created a government which became a beacon of freedom of human beings everywhere else. .
Actually, the sea pirates who had the most to do with the creation of the new government owned human slaves. They used human beings for machinery, and, even after slavery was eliminated, because it was so embarrassing, they and their descendants continued to think of ordinary human beings as machines.

The sea pirates were white. The people who were already on the continent when the pirates arrived were copper-colored. When slavery was introduced onto the continent, the slaves were black.

Color was everything.

So there it is. Now you have more ":FLESH" on the bare bones.

So dazzle me again with your logic and provide a nexus between free speech and your self granted right to directy property dispositions.

By the way, try using English precisely. You said "Instead of lecturing others and preaching to them."

Where, when and in what instance did I "lecture others and preach to them?"

Be specific.
Be factual
Be logical.

Here's your facts. The attached article lays everything out pretty nicely. Christie got elected Governor when the state was far less Democrat and a much larger share of unaffliiated. That is no longer the case. 10 out of 12 US House seats in NJ are Democrats.

No one living on this earth...yourself included...was taught that the America's were not inhabited by human beings. Let's get that out of the way.

because humans are humans...being cheated and robbed were not new experiences to the locals. Or are you one of them weird people who advocates for some goofy "noble savage" philosophies?

I have always been fascinated with your posts. I typically read them in the voice of an old angry hobbit.

Natives fought with each other long before Wypepo Tribe came to the Americas. What did they fight over? They fought for food, they fought for territory, during drought they fought over fresh water and they even killed each other for sport or conquest. Some Native Tribes were very ambitious and wanted. You say "Color was Everything" and lets being it in today's context. You seem to be okay with people fighting over food, territory and resources but as long as those people are of the same color. Lets take the inner cities today. Lets talk about black on black crime that most politicians and regular folk just turn a blind eye to... are we just okay with the inner cities killing each other just like we really do not care about the savage acts of Natives killing each other sometimes for sport at times? They raped and pillaged other tribes, sometimes decimating the entire tribe and raping their women and enslaving some. The Navajo along with their Apache allies were known to go after the Pueblo Indians in the name resource gathering and preservation. Turns out that the Natives were not so much different than the Wypepo Tribe... except the technology was vastly different. Without sugar coating it the Wypepo tribe came with guns and artillery and took what they wanted. You can assume with all the pillaging the conflicts that went on before the pale skinned Wypepo Tribe that this artillery would have been used in conflict if that technology was available to them... this is proven by the fact that these Natives used these weapons when the Wypepo gave them guns and other artillery to use against other tribes. Sadly in the end the Wypepo were just too strong of a force and (right, wrong, or indifferent) took what they wanted... which is now America. Lets say the Wypepo Tribe gave one tribe guns and artillery and just left. Lets pretend they gave all of their technology to the Navajo. Its safe to assume the Navajo would have obliterated their competition in similar fashion. Would that have been okay? Would people see this as the same as they see Black on Black crime in America's inner cities? I assume so. But that's not how it happened. The Wypepo took over. The Wypepo did some awful horrible things. Lets also talk about land rights. If I step on a piece of dirt and I am the first person to step on that dirt is all the dirt that is connected to that dirt my dirt? Do I have to call scoobs on that dirt if I were to walk miles away and settle in another area? And then call scoobs when they go somewhere else? If I am settled in an area and then people of the same color come and kill my people is it now their land? If I am settled in an area and then people of a different color come and kill my people is that seen differently? Do you only "owe" something to someone if you are different color? Are we an awful civilization because Wypepo did what everyone else was doing? Or are we just awful for being Wypepo?

I don't agree with graffiti in general, but I most definitely do not agree with graffiti on a monument honoring soldiers that gave their lives. If graffiti is to go anywhere, City Hall is probably one of the least offensive locations. Again, I don't care if the message is anti-vax or pro-vax, don't deface a monument to soldiers. That's about as low as you can go.

That's pretty based.

Our fights just happened in the school. But I dont recall seeing many, usually it was girls fighting honestly.

In middle school we had many more fights.

Fortunately, I never got in one.

81, 46 years in Washington. A strong case for term limits.

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., plans to retire at the end of his term, the veteran lawmaker told reporters in his home state on Monday.

"It is time to pass the torch to the next Vermonter who will carry on this work for our great state. It’s time to come home," Leahy said.

Leahy, 81, is the longest-serving current senator, having served since 1975.

Too funny. Notice that Bernie doesn't want a tax on the rich, just the extremely rich. Bernie is rich.

Elon Musk targets Bernie Sanders over tax tweet: 'I keep forgetting that you’re still alive'

The Twitter spat was in response to the senator's demand that "the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Tesla CEO Elon Musk took aim at Sen. Bernie Sanders over the weekend after the lawmaker demanded the wealthy pay their “fair share.”

Sanders, an advocate for redistributing wealth, tweeted Saturday afternoon that “we must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.”

Early Sunday, Musk fired back at the Vermont independent.

“I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” he wrote in a tweet.

Musk followed that up with another message for Sanders.

“Want me to sell more stock, Bernie?” he asked. “Just say the word …”

Musk falls under Sanders’ description of “the extremely wealthy” as the world’s richest person with a net worth of $285 billion, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.

Musk’s trust sold about $1.2 billion in Tesla stock on Friday, according to financial filings posted Friday evening and sold about $6.9 billion worth of stock in the company over the course of the week, CNBC reported. Musk still holds more than 166 million shares in the company.

The sales came after Musk polled his more than 60 million Twitter followers on Nov. 6 asking if he should sell 10 percent of his shares. About 58 percent responded “yes.” He told followers the vote would determine the future of his Tesla holdings, but financial documents filed last week show that some were slated for sale no matter the outcome of the poll, according to CNBC.

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are seeking to raise taxes for the country’s most wealthy.

U.S. Senate Democrats last month unveiled a proposal to tax the stocks and other tradeable assets of billionaires to help pay for President Joe Biden’s sweeping domestic policy package.

Sanders, along with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, has been one of the loudest voices demanding higher taxes on the rich. In March, both proposed a 3 percent total annual tax on wealth exceeding $1 billion, and a 2 percent annual wealth tax on the net worth of households and trusts ranging from $50 million to $1 billion.

Feinstein, Bill Pascrell, Don Young, Richard Shelby, Jim Inhofe, Eddie Bernice Johnson, Pat Roberts, Alcee Hastings, Grace Napolitano and Grassley all in the ten oldest members of Congress. Pelosi at 81 didn't even make the list. That tells you part of the problem.

Heck Dakota's Mitch should call it quits next year when he turns 80.

I sure did and it was already pretty apparent which is why I commented.

We both know that anti-vaxxers love to cling to anything, and their critical thinking skills are....lacking so they might not be able to tell that.

Are you sure? No where in the article did I see that they've identified a suspect for the graffiti on the cenotaph. All it says is "If you have more information about this crime, please contact etc etc." Unless this is some false flag act like the "white supremacists" at the Glenn Youngkin rally, would it not be more likely that this was caused by someone who is pro-vax?

A bit of a broad and inaccurate brush there. Not everyone who's against current vaccine policies or even the vaccine itself would fall into the category of anti-vaxxers, as that term is usually used. My wife, who is rather left leaning on most things and certainly identifies as strongly liberal, is fully vaccinated, but HATES the government forcing her and dictating to her. She sees that as a major overstep on their part and an intrusion into her private life. My brother has avoided getting the vaccine so far because he worries about possible long term effects of a vaccine that didn't go through the typical lengthy development and testing process. Neither of them lack for critical thinking skills. Both have legit concerns.
