It’ll get better once those reparations checks clear
Imagine if the check bounces…

Police officer was not charged. Prosecutor stated:One of the many instances people mobbed a car. I don’t blame anyone for hitting the gas to get out of that.
Well, that’s true.Police officer was not charged. Prosecutor stated:
"He took a measured response to an unruly, aggressive, and dangerous mob,"

Do stupid things, get stupid prizes. These people think if they’re part of a mob they’re invincible or won’t suffer consequences?
These guys should be fired, but yes you are correct, it's a few bad apples and the sooner all of the bad apples are removed from law enforcement the better.Just a few bad apples…
It’s just not though. Let me ask you a question…would you consider someone who abuses their spouse and/or children a “bad apple?”These guys should be fired, but yes you are correct, it's a few bad apples and the sooner all of the bad apples are removed from law enforcement the better.

Problem is the good apples cover for them. How many times do you see departments investigate their own and find no wrongdoing? How many times do one of these guys get fired and then you read that he was immediately rehired in another city? Happens constantly. These guys should be fired, but yes you are correct, it's a few bad apples and the sooner all of the bad apples are removed from law enforcement the better.

Don't disagree. There needs to be some disciplinary action to stop cover ups. Make it painful enough to discourage them from doing it a second time. That's why I'm also in favor of review boards with a majority of civilians even for the hiring process. Create a national database where police can see who was fired.Problem is the good apples cover for them. How many times do you see departments investigate their own and find no wrongdoing? If they have a tendency toward violence then it could lead to being a bad cop.Ultimately, yes. But I guess I’m trying to
ascertain whether you think that would make them a bad cop.

I read before that the abuse is a result of policemen bringing the stress of their work home. That's why I'm also in favor of regularly scheduled mandatory counseling for policemen. That’s a lot of violent cops…![]()
I agree with this. I think there also needs to be some sort of punishment for departments when an officer fucks up. They have no incentive to weed out the bad apples before something bad happens right now. Why are citizens paying for the lawsuits when a cop fucks up? Take it out of the departments pensions. I bet the good cops would be way less willing to cover for bad ones when it's directly affecting their pocketbook.Don't disagree. There needs to be some disciplinary action to stop cover ups. Doesn't settlement money come from insurance policies?I agree with this. I think there also needs to be some sort of punishment for departments when an officer fucks up. Eh it’s anecdotal but glad to see there are some out there. So much for the theory that all policemen cover for each other. Hats off to Sergeant Skinner.

Not necessarily aiming this at you but I am really confused on the hate police get.Eh it’s anecdotal but glad to see there are some out there.
No worries I get it. but it seems to me that pyschologists and cops /military dont always go together. Men in general are resistant to discuss their mental health state. Not necessarily aiming this at you but I am really confused on the hate police get.
Criminals fuck up we scream for mental health services.
Military comes back and have issues we scream for mental health services.
5 year olds wants to be the opposite sex we scream affirming mental health services.
Police have issues and we call them racists alcoholic wife beaters…. that don’t deserve mental health services obviously.
