The lawsuits against the federal troops that were driven out of Portland are indicative of a total disregard for the Constitution and individual rights.

Federal judges have had to issue orders that:
- order federal agents identify themselves and explicitly state the reason for an arrest or detention in accordance with Americans right against unreasonable searches and seizures, (4th Amendment of Constitution)
- prevent federal law enforcement of infringing upon Oregon's sovereign powers to police its own streets. (First Unitarian Church is plaintiff. Tenth Amendment to the Constituion)
- federal agents end using chemical and impact munitions designed for war zones against American civilians in the peaceful exercise of their First Amendment rights, which resulted in hundreds of injuries
- federal agents fulfill their responsibility in protecting federal buildings only without illegally injuring and arresting Americans on non-federal property
- prohibit federal agents from “arresting, threatening to arrest, or using physical as well as non-lethal force directed against any person whom they know or reasonably should know is a Journalist or Legal Observer.” who are exercising their fundamental right (First Amendment) to record and observe police activities and specifically targeting journalists separate from any activity (Index Newspapers et al v U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Dept of Homeland Security)

This President has evidenced a total disregard for the laws of this country. Time and time again he loses in court after court with judge after judge issuing restraining orders. He'll lose all of these cases with taxpayers footing the bills. Trump would establish a Police State to do his bidding, which is what our Founding Fathers were most concerned in preventing.

What's your answer? Portland has demonstrated their inability to maintain law and order. As the above videos have shown, innocent business are suffering unnecessary attacks and loss of business and income. Please don't try to blame all of this on the Proud Boys, some other far right wing group, Trump or the federal government in general. This all started with the rioters wanting social justice and it has been shown that these rioters are lefties.

It's more unwillingness, than inability.

Legacy loves to pontificate about "people's rights", while clearly ignoring all the daily/nightly infringements on people's rights.

And some of Legacy's bullets are hilarious. It would be nice if Legacy would list the countless violations of rioters on a nightly basis.

I particularly loved the one about allowing cops to be videoed... lol.... The left rioters have their own umbrella crew that does everything they can to bully and prohibit anyone trying to record the rioters breaking countless laws that infringe on other's rights. And specifically Antifa's attack on Andy Ngo leaving him with a cracked skull and brain injury are never even considered by lib shills like Legacy.

This happened in SF at a planned conservative free speech protest (protesting Twitter) when Antifa clashed with protesters.

Guess they can't call this guy (he's the one that organized the protest) a far right white supremacist. lol

"Out of state provocateur organizes rally to incite violence, is surprised when counter protestors fight back."

Weird seeing Antifa being part of the counter protest, usually that's for the Conservative groups. Probably for the best, since the worst damage done to anyone is some teeth getting knocked out. Thank God the Proudboys are standing back, likely someone would get killed as it tends to happen when they show up.

Is that your best shot lol? When people protest Twitter's attack on free speech, they need to go where Twitter is, which is SF. But hey, I got it, so it's OK when peaceful protests are met with violence because someone is from out of state... I guess all the women who traveled to DC to protest Trump should have their teeth knocked out too, right? That's pretty idiotic even from someone from Canada.

Not sure an exorcist will cure what's wrong with crazy lefties, but I guess it's worth a try.

Dude flew there to kick dust up knowing full well what his presence would bring. Kind of similar to the famous Charlottesville incident. Yes reasonable take to have, yep total connection there.

I make a great attempt to keep things from going personal, because I believe there must be intelligence there. If I was extremely petty I would make reference to hilarious Twitter account that is goldmine of great content that explains a TON. Keep on keeping on dude.

Sorry, but this is where you expose yourself as being 100% shill.

1) So anyone who goes somewhere to peacefully protest something is trying to kick dust up?

2) Anyone that protests something peacefully should expect violence in return?

8 in 10 folks polled (Gallup) do not trust social media to make the right decisions lol... So you're basically saying that people, exercising their 1st amendment, to protest what they see as an attack on the 1st amendment, at the office of the company attacking the 1st amendment, should stay home because they should know what to expect? Pretty idiotic.

I get it, you think any protest against your narrative deserves violence, and is a stupid protest to begin with.

Again, why is a Canadian who obviously doesn't care all that much about ND football, on a board just to talk American politics. Did you get banned from your Canadian politics board or something lol...

Since you seem to think Americans should not travel within America to exercise their free speech, why don't stay on Canadian boards and exercise whatever Canadian rights there.

Funny how libs can go anywhere, protest anything, steal shit, burn shit, etc... and it's all just fine..... But anyone else that goes to truly "peacefully" protest, well they're just trying to kick dust up, and should expect to be be beaten.... There are some truly special people out there...

I said the guy traveling cross country who clearly wants to incite violence is a troublemaker. Don't spin too much there big boy. Nowhere did I say anything about the others protestors, I think there is too much power in the big tech companies and the lack of regulation or foresight on them is a complete failure.

I know you're upset when you bring up my country or whether I'm "allowed" to post. I have posted numerous times in FB threads, you even responded to them lol. I'm not sure what gives you the authority to police IE, insecurity? Loneliness?

The guy travelling across country was using his first amendment right to do so. When they woman's march organizer traveled to DC this weekend to protest Trump, did she clearly go there to incite violence?

You'll never upset me dude. You're like the fly on Pence's head. Can be funny at times, but mostly just a nuisance. Not suggesting you shouldn't be allowed, I'm asking why you feel the need to come here. Your ND football post are anecdotal and few and far between. I bet if I looked at your last 100 posts, fewer than 10, probably fewer than 5, would be about actual ND specific topics.

Not policing anything. Just calling it what it is.

The stuff in Phil is head scratching.

Guy continuously advances towards cops with knife, and gets shot. Vid is clear.

Rioters then run down a female cop with a truck while burning and vandalizing.

Wolf Blitzer needs to join Biden in the Alzheimer’s Unit at the old folks home. He actually said out loud that the cops should’ve shot to wound instead of shooting to kill!?!? I’m not a gun expert but I’ve got enough firing brain cells to see the idiocy on multiple levels w/ that quote.

I shall ask again. Do you see the differences?

The video I posted has the AA speaker saying they too were exercising their 2nd Amendment rights under Oregon law and following limitations that Portland has on no loaded weapons. They did say they may well occupy tops of buildings as PP/PB have done.

What differences do you see? I have mentioned many before.

I honestly don't have a problem if gov or police want to change firing policy to wound. But the policy is pretty clear right now. Even if they were to change policy to shoot-to-wound, the bar would lower, and the outrage would then move to "why not stun". And we saw what attempting to stun ended up with in ATL.

And it's a bit hilarious that Biden had zero problem with policy for 40+ years....

There is no such thing as "shooting to wound" when considering use of force. So it's stupid for him to have suggested that. However, it raises the question why "shooting" is the default response to every dangerous situation. Should the person be brandishing a knife? Of course not. Is that a 100% death sentence in other first world countries? No. In many other countries that guy gets incapacitated without someone dying. In the United States, police shooting rates are through the roof in basically all scenarios -- citizen armed with gun; citizen armed with other weapon; citizen unarmed. The big picture issue is getting cops to use their guns less so that less people end up dead.

While I'd love to think there is an answer, not sure there is. The US is simply much more violent compared to other comparable places like western Euros. Not just talking about homicide rate, but violence in general. The US rape rate per capita vs others is horrible. In short, I think we have a violence problem as much as cops shooting people problem.

What are police supposed to do when a person with a knife advances on them? In the latest case, the cops were trying to fall back, but the guy kept coming. Sad that he lost his life, but I'm just not sure there is another response. And it seems more and more feel emboldened they can do whatever they want. Some of the vids lately of cops falling back while rioters pelt them with bricks and rocks, and the one where they female cop gets run over by a truck are pretty scary. The failure to stop that behavior only creates more and worse.
