Sick of the Lebron James crap how does he get MPV? If it wasn't for Steph showing up the last two games they don't win.

This was all able to take place despite Caitlin Clark not being present. I was seriously worried.

US Soccer should just have Emma Hayes coach the men too.

I was worried when the women’s team was down 10 and we hadn’t hit a three-pointer that God was punishing us for not bringing America’s sweetheart (Caitlyn) to the Olympics. Then I remembered the opening ceremonies and realized that God would punish France more for the Last Supper incident. He did. America.

When you haven't lost in 32 years, Caitlin Clark and God don't make the squad.

I do think both men and women's hoops will have to go younger in 2028, though.

The player they were missing was Arike. Would not have been close with her on the floor.
There were three people left off the team -- Arike, Clark, Reese -- that would've had them winning by 10+ points. The players they brought that were mistakes were Gray, Taurasi, and Griner.

Taurasi is old and slow, so she doesn't bring anything on the offensive end that you don't already get from someone else AND she's a defensive liability. 0 minutes in the finals. Gray was coming off major injury and should not have been on the team. She couldn't play. Griner was similarly someone they chose to plant on the bench in the finals presumably because they thought she had limitations on offense.

If the five people you put on the floor was Clark (PG), Arike (SG), Stewart (SF), Reese (PF), Wilson (C) they would have throttled teams. But biggest issue was actually coaching. The first half vs France was some of the worst coached offensive basketball I've ever seen because they had no natural facilitator and no flow on offense. Often it was 4 people standing around watching one person go to the hoop off the dribble. If you don't have scripted or practiced motions... and you're asking people to play out of position... then often you're going to be hesitant or not on the same page with your teammates. That leads to hero ball and turnovers.

No guarantee she is good in 4 years
Yeah, yeah. Tomorrow is promised to no one. Assuming she doesn't blow a knee out or go Ja Morant in four years, it's a safe bet she's going to be there.

She's started 26 games so far as a rookie and the numbers speak for themselves. She stays healthy, she's going to be one of the best players in the League.

Was it annoying having to hear about how she didn't make a team that won a gold medal, especially in real time yesterday during the game? Yes. Be that as it may, she should be on that roster in 2028.

Only saw replays and highlights. How good must it feel for Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone to know her only competition was herself. And several others as well.
