It’s more than that. Apparently we lost a gold when the high jumpers tied but the American refused to share and then lost the playoff? Can’t just blame it on one event.

As it stands now, we are down one gold 39-38. Tomorrow China has 81kg+ womens weightlifting with us and others, not sure who the favorite is. China has won half the women’s golds so far but they are all in the lower weight classes and this is the heaviest.

US has 3 finals tomorrow that will give either a gold or silver: W BBall, W Volleyball, and W 76 Kg wrestling. I have no idea who the favorites are for the latter two.

Saw article today that said the US is project for 44 gold. Not sure how reliable that is.

I think US also has a chance at woman track cycling tomorrow too.

I didn't watch a lot of it, but I caught the end of the men's final and thought it was inoffensive. I would rather watch that then watch another hour of diving singles coverage.
