Teams can make secret under the table moves and make trades tomorrow. But the actual draft picked rookies cannot be traded, ever until they're signed. Like the Eagles could have told Zona in secret (before the draft) dont fraft a QB and we will trade Kolb for your 2nd round pick. And hopefully the eagles keep their word. Besides that,othing can be done tonight.

Right, but he is saying they can't trade the pick tonight if it is really for a player (which can't happen until tomorrow). So the team trading away the pick would make the pick that the team receiving the pick would make. If you can follow that (maybe not best explanation ever).
