not getting drafted does not change the talent level of Ian, Walls, Allen and others guys... it is not that big a deal... either way they were gonna have to prove it in training camp or hit the road... they are still the same guys and will have to eanr it regardless... time will tell.

Ian Williams could be a solid backup DT.

Darrin Walls should make a roster and stay there for at least a couple of years. He got screwed numerous times during his career. His year off really stunted his development, and then he came back into the glorious storm of crap that was Tenuta's defense.

Armando Allen (although I love the kid, gave his heart and soul to ND) is small, quick but not terribly fast (4.58 at pro day) and injury prone. He's had injuries four different times, including two season-ending injuries. He doesn't stand much of a chance, and that's sad.

I think Hughes could end up making a roster or practice squad as well. Tough guy with a lot of talent who was never in a good situation at ND.

Here is a question, since the teams can no longer contact any players including draftees, if this lockout goes into the season will any of those draftees even see the field. For the fact they will have no training camp or a playbook unless a current player shares with the draftees. Just something that is interesting.

Mark Herzilich (or however the hell you spell it) wasn't selected.

Wow.

Greatest undrafted Free Agent in the history of ever?

No.

Mark has had a remarkable journey getting back on the field, but he's half the LB he used to be. There's a reason he wasn't drafted.
