It was really clicking. Nice diversity, the TEs were utilized well and Kizer seemed to be getting the ball out quickly. Quite pleased all the way around.

Absolutely terrible game plan. Why do you try to throw it 30 times in a hurricane? That is ridiculous!! And given that, Kizer looked slow running and awful throwing it. This would have been a game to give Zaire a chance to run more than one damn play.

Our running game was good enough to win.. When we actually handed it off. Adams averaged 3.6/carry. That's perfectly fine to move the chains. He just chose not to do it and then when he did, he chose to do so when we were behind the chains.

Welp...all I can say is the route selection was poop for the conditions...until the very end, and then receivers dropped balls they should catch.. The run game was poop.

Today is the day for using the tight end on stuff between the backers or little arrow routes...just read routes 12 y/o kids can execute in the rain...no TE use to speak of. Today was double tights smash it...wasn't there. Today was the pump to the slant and punch it out to the back and give him a shot at turning the corner...I mean I can't believe what I saw on offense. And then when fate hands them stuff, our o-line starts jumping. It is just awful.

But hey the defense didn't look like they totally sucked today...but the offense did. shrug. Team can't get out of their own way.

This is sad.

We should have never asked a freshman WR to make that play. That's part of the mismanagement of the game. Ball control is clearly extremely difficult in this weather. Let's make a freshman WR run a route, make a cut, and then catch that same ball in that same weather. Just like we should not have asked Kizer to throw that many times.
