We needed a win like this. College Gameday crew basically all said it would be a nail biter. Herbstreit and Des said they would have picked Pitt is Pickett was playing.

Reading through the comments and I want to make sure my TVs not busted.

We're up 21-3 right?

Yup.

And according to some, even though Book has 180+ and 2 TDs at half against a Narduzzi defense, PJ, who only has 90 yards vs a team giving up 50pts a game, is a better option though lol.

Hopefully Kyren can get a rhythm in the 2nd half and bury these guys

Still felt like it was a disjointed offensive performance. But we’re up 28-3. Need to pound these guys in the second. Like BK said against USF “no more mister nice guy”. Stay focused and run it up.

The defense is studly.

They’ve shut down the run against a team that can’t run so they’re taking care of business.

DBs are susceptible to the sideline shoulder throws...have been all season.

I’m hoping they can dial up some blitzes that get home in the second half. I suspect we see a difference QB sooner or later.

If healthy, I’d stick w/ Skowronek & Davis w/ Lenzy on some end around screens. Javon is a great kid but he just can’t get separation.

Why is Book throwing two-seam fastballs on crossers underneath??!?

this is an opportunity to practice another facet.....putting opponents away.

Yeah Pitt is starting to look demoralized, but some of them still think they can win this game.

They need to be reminded that they never had a chance to win this game.

hate see this game end up 42-28

Add in the incentive that some voters will simply look at scores so if ND doesn’t want to get leapfrogged by THE OSU, they need to win handily.

That Rugby punter literally moved into the block.
Lmfao.

As an Australian I am sick of hearing about these Ozzie punters. They are all from our Aussie Rules states. Most of Australia hates Aussie Rules.

Javon is NOT a #1, but it's also not his fault Book fires 1/2 his balls to him 3 feet over his head...

Ian is so off.
Remember when we could at least count on a high completion percentage?

Maybe Book should try that more with McKinley. Throwing to his general vicinity.

Book's struggles are making me think that Boykin, Claypool, Fine, and Kmet were the ones making him look good.
