Looking at their schedule, if BYU loses to a Big 12 team, they will almost certainly have a worse loss than we do (to BYU). And then a second loss in the Big 12 championship game. So, maybe don't lose both those games. And anyway, in the scenario they describe, the committee probably wouldn't put us ahead of BYU anyway, if it meant bumping BYU out of the playoff. Head-to-head should actually matter.

Bigger picture, the idea that it's somehow wrong for a team ranked in the Top 12 to make the 12-team playoff is silly. And also conference championship games are dumb and they should just stop playing them. If a loss has no real consequence, what is the point?

Yup. doesnt seem to be a civil case where the girl is seeking monetary damages. A 1-year investigation to build an air-tight case, holding him without bail, etc. I'm not an attorney, but it seems that he will be behind bars for a period of time.

I'm a BYU varsity athlete grad. I love the University, but I never cared for its sports programs. But I've been really disappointed at the recent string of issues the athletes there have been having. Even the student body has seemingly shifted since I was there in the mid 2010's.

I know every school deals with similar issues. But the mission of the university was, in my mind, always to produce exceptional individuals. So I hold the school to a higher standard than I probably should.

With Kingston gone, their 1-dimensional offense has become a .5-dimensional offense. With the departure of thier best recievers, they are going to need the new guys, including the freshmen Pula twins, to become threats. I dont think they will get through Arizona, TCU, and Iowa State unscathed. probably looking at a 20-unranked BYU team when we play, which is unfortunate for SOS.

Just jam the receivers, stack the box, and spy Bachmeier. It was always going to be an easy game imo. But now, it's becoming dangerously close to 4+ score blowout territory.
