Still can't get over the Tuitt call. Came home from Pitt yesterday and watched some of the game. Play by play call "oh there's a flag on the field, must be on ND because Kelly is fired up.... Oh that ejection will be overturned on the replay, the call was questionable anyway....." Then they go on to act like it's no big deal.
All 28 points were scored after Tuitt went out. Utopo hasn't played that much since high school and Pitt came at early and often.
I am not that irate about the loss, we owed them one from last year anyway. I can't curse anyone too much when we throw two really bad picks and another fumble in the red zone.
I can be irate about a few plays though. I about had a stroke when we didn't go after that fumble. WTF!! 7 points the defense left on the field. It's like they don't realize they are allowed to score too. I just don't see the killer instinct to force turnovers, like they are happy just slowing the other side down and hoping they make mistakes.
Classic ND/Pitt, always close and at least this was better played on both sides than the last two years that were some of the worst games I have ever seen.
