There were atleast 3 receivers open on that TD. Kizer should throw for 400 yards and 5 TDs today

So apparently Kizer plays safety also. Smh. Who does the lineups for CBS? Someone needs to do a little more research when putting a graphic up

Getting pushed around by a bunch of pipsqueaks.

That drive was basically the equivalent of a bully walking up to a nerd in the cafeteria, grabbing him, demanding his lunch money, the nerd lightly slapping the bully's face, and the bully running away crying while the crowd laughs.

I think you can figure out who's who in that scenario.

I say it every year, but a team that could get 4* recruits to execute this offense would be unstoppable. It's elegant.

Content to sit back and let Navy dictate, come on coaches. You're telling me we can't/won't create some disruptions for Navy? There isn't any film available to lean on from some opponent of Navy that may have given them some trouble? This is high school type coaching, good Lord.

We're not getting pushed around. QB keepers and FB dives are getting like 2-3 yards which is fine. You have to be able to stop the pitch. That's the explosive play in the option game.

The scheme looks off. I'm not a defensive guru in the BVG mold or anything, but the pitch defender cannot be coming from the opposite side of the field. Vaughn and Love are also going to have to be real football players today. Throw the damn receiver aside and make a play.

I will agree with this but would a team be able to regularly get 4* players using the Option?

A lot of kids these days want the high flying offense. Even Bama and Michigan, the old school I Formation guys, still use their WRs and athletes.

No, you can't recruit for it consistently. The NFL could never run it because the defenses are too big and fast, and the top recruits won't go to a school that won't get them drafted.
