While I think ND has the overall talent advantage, I don't think there's a school in the country that wouldn't trade their linebackers for Pitt's.

Maybe it's just me being a Pitt homer, but I'm yet to see a player more dangerous than a healthy Desmond Reid.

ND's advantages along the lines might be way too much for any of that to make a difference though. We shall see.
I’d take ND’s LB’s over Pitts. KVA is better than anyone Pitt has idc about PFF grade

Besides ND, Ohio State, Georgia, and Texas all have better LBs than Pitt, easily.

You think Reid is the best player in the country? Okay haha.

Carr needs to avoid the slow start he’s been plagued

I have no doubt that Pitt's linebackers are all dogs, but line backer is Notre Dame's deepest and maybe best unit on the team full of NFL talent.

I never said that Reid was the best player in the country.

I'm sticking to my guns with Pitt's linebackers. Each one of those schools would swap out their linebackers for Pitt's. They aren't getting that much hype this year only because they haven't been able to stay healthy. There's a reason why Louis and Biles were both pre-season all americans though. The other lb (Lovelace) has proven to be almost as good as the other two.

Early in the week, I thought the Pitt fans saying Reid is better than Love were just ragebait and trolling. I've seen it enough over and over again to the point I think they truly believe it. Pitt fans almost sound like they just live in a bubble and don't watch any other CFB.

So how many first rounders in the Pitt LB Corp? None? We can circle back on how well they play today. Well how they handle our TE and RBs in some today. Were they the Pitt LBs we beat last year 56-7?

In the Joe Rudolph thread I said I don’t like Minchey as a change of pace qb. Today is an exception. Let Minchey get in to rub it in Narduzzi’s face

My old lady is hosting our 4 y/o grandson’s birthday party today at our house. Starts at 1pm EST.

Irish better roll. If not, I might be kicking a bunch of 4 or 5 y/o’s plus their parents out of my house. Luckily, a few of the dads are Irish fans too…the fridge in the garage is full for them.

The Pitt kicker is going through warmups. Status unknown.

The questionable DT has not been spotted.
