I'm excited for this game. I was born in Utah, don't know what a Ute is though, haha. This will be my third game this season that I've attended, but this one is special it's my son's 7th birthday (Nov 12) present!! He's never been to the stadium and he's going to lost it when he finds out he's going! He loves Tao, and Riddick. I can't wait for this game, and I hope ND wins!

Good for you and I hope your boy enjoys the experience. My dad took me to my first game when I was around 4 and every year we would hit a couple of games but I will always remember my first game with my dad.

A Ute is a member of the Indian tribe native to Utah, hence the drum and feather logo. Should be a good game, sounds like a lot of people here are underestimating us, as is usual throughout the NCAA.

You are all right, though; our true tests will be this week at Air Force and next Saturday against TCU. If we come out of these games 2-0, I think it's safe to say we'll end the season undefeated and once again bust some BCS team wide-open.

Looking forward to the game though, hope what I hear of most ND fans is true and experience classy, but at the same time heckling and intense, fans.

Someone has to be able to answer me, though, and offer some insight as to the visiting fan section?

Sections 113 - 115 usually have a bunch of opposing fans

Absolutely Not! Why do you think I bought tickets to this game? Should the Irish play like they are capable of playing and make this an exciting game it will be worth every penny. There are number of reasons this game should be an interesting matchup. It is the first time the two teams will play each other and most of all the Utes are ranked in the top 10 both in AP and BCS. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but should Notre Dame pull this off, I hope I get a chance to feel the grass under my feet. I can't decide if a win would be exciting enough to warrant a storming of the field. Probably just wishful thinking but regardless I am looking forward to it.

Yes sir, I'll be there. Section 6, row 41. I'm excited for this one! As far as tailgating goes, I've only ever been to one other ND game and I didn't get into too much tailgating, I spent most of my time marveling at the campus and trying to take it all in. I believe I will be indulging in some tailgating madness this year though!

Check out this website. It has pretty good reviews about all the sections in Notre Dame Stadium. There are two tabs at the top (Reviews and Photos) click on the Photos tab to see a view from the section desired.

green is supposed to be special. reserved for big games... the only time I thought it was ok that we did it against a bad team (army) was Brady Quinn and Co.'s senior game.

I was very confused about the one comment saying "I hope Utah wins this week".

I just realized now that this week was ND's bye week. Wow that is so weak. This is going to be an extremely long 2 weeks- the Lynch thread will need to stay openfor entertainment value.

I am loving ND outright coming off the bye. I am thinking ND will be like +3. The nation is gonna pound Utah. It will jump to like 5 or 6. Then ND rolls.

Anyone else think ND will open up as a home dog?

I had tickets for this game with my grandpa, who is the reason im a huge nd fan but now he doesn't want to go because he doesn't want to see a blood bath and not eat my grandmothers food, i thought it was funny but said.

best case scenario: utah beats TCU this weekend, we upset a top-five ranked Utah (i can dream, right?) and, while we are still a mediocre 5-5, we beat a top-five team for the first time since i think michigan in the big house in '05. i think a win against a top-five utah team would put kelly's program on a roll (not record-wise, but confidence-wise) and if we get on a roll i dont think its out of the question that we can win a shootout with U$C...

but lets get back to reality. utah isn't going to beat TCU, and ND isn't going to beat Utah. it would be nice, though....
