ya know, i like his music. he is an arrogant son of a b*tch, but he can back it up. I dont care if there is a guy who says he is good when he is good, but when he's bad, looks really bad (hint T.O. most of the time) Although i don't like his tirades (Bush don't like black people!)

you probably said this because you don't like hip hop, which is cool, but when it comes to his beats, he's one of the most talented guys out there. he's not the best rapper, but his beats make up for it.

I think most people are right here. The guy is a pompous a**hole, who is weird, annoying, and a bit of a moron.
But as far as music goes, i think the dude is a genius. So many of his tracks are just unreal. Dude's got mad imagination. Personally, I am more of a JayZ guy (since Pac was murdered), but I respect the hell out of Kanye's music. He talks a lot of junk but he backs it up. Case in point, when he and 50 Cent dropped their albums on the same day, 50 cent said he was going to blow away Kanye, and Kanye said just the opposite would happen. And the opposite did happen. Kanye wiped his ass out and 50's album disappeared (as did 50, LOL).
But I won't argue with anyone who can't stand the dude.
Oh, and Gangstarr is a stud Steve...

My biggest problem is also his damn attitude. He walks around claiming to be the best ever. Now I have to admit his music(although he plays no instruments and more than likely has no grasp of actual music composition) is great. Consider this though.......have people (other than Muhhamed Ali) who really were the greatest at what they did, ever had to brag about it or was it just something that everyone already knew. Maybe people like Kanye need to have a big ole slice of humble pie. Then again hes probobly just trying to convince himself that hes the greates ever. Definately an A-hole.

He isn't a great MC, but he has a chance to challenge guys like Premier, Dre, and J Dilla as the best producer ever if he keeps producing like he has up to this point.

I've grown out of my hip hop phase. There was a time when yours truly, the vanilla-ist of the vanilla, had The Chronic, Doggy-Style, and Black Sheep (forget the album title- U can get with this was the big track) in his rotation.
