This Alaska time is bullshit! I had to get up at six so I could catch Gameday! I'm only crabby because my coffee is still brewing. IT'S FINALLY HERE!

ITS GAMEDAY!! There is no better feeling than waking up hours before gametime and having one thing on your mind. Nothing else in the world holds any relevance. It's gameday and more importantly, its the start of a new era in South Bend. One that Irish fans on IrishEnvy.com and fans all over the country can be proud of. We have tons of talent and a class act coach. Its time to put our mark back on college football and show the country that WE ARE NOTRE DAME!!

What's up everyone! So, I hope it isn't a bad sign, but Casa de GO IRISH had a power outage last night. The good news is that is back on now in time for the game, but I missed out on our annual fun and frivolity of the night before the game.

Anyhow, I am so beyond pumped right now. I woke up at 7:00 which I never do on a Saturday. Feels like Christmas morning! The next 4 hours can't go by fast enough!

Naw, Alaska has it's own time zone. We're one hour behind Pacific and its 0747 now. I've always been East or Central for football season, so this is going to take some getting used to. Had to get up at 0600 for Gameday, and the Irish come on at 1130. I did get to see the Utah Pitt game without having to stay up late, as well as Gameday Final, so there are some advantages as well.

Oh let me clarify, I did not wake up for Erin's "new hour" that they added. I mean I woke up for Gameday proper.

Yea I think I unintentionally confused you. They expanded to 3 hours this year with Erin Andrews doing the first hour on ESPNU. I did not wake up for that, which started at 0500 here, I woke up at 0600 for the two hour segment with Chris Fowler, Kirk, Lee, and Des. The games all kick off at 0800. ND kicks off at 1130 Alaska time. I hope that clears it up.
