Lol. Well they didn't really touch franchise mode. There is 7 rounds in the draft which is cool. Be a pro is a little different with the CHL being in it. The new physics system is cool also the broken stick thing is cool. I think its an upgrade over 10 and worth it, but thats just me

I am an avid EA NHL player - NHL11 online has tons of problems. You can still play, but you get alot of quitting, glitching, and other stuff. If you can get over ppl quitting if you score in the first 2mins, or if you get a 3-0 lead then it wont be so bad. This happened in NHL10, but the quitting and everything else is overbaord in NHL11.

I like to play Be a Pro, OvP, Club team, and HUT(Hockey Ultimate Team). HUT was/is really cool, but all quitting makes it unplayable. In HUT your players have contracts and only so many career games. When ppl quit on you in HUT, those career games are burned and you get nothing for them. No stats for the win, no player stats, are career games are burned.

I think i have posted here before, but here is a good EA NHL forum site, for both PS3 and 360:

Yeah, where's ACamp? Opening night loss in the new barn? Do the Flyers have a surprise goalie in Sideshow Bobarovsky?

Yeah he was amazing. Never expected that out of him. He played for the worst team in the KHL so his numbers were a bit misleading and he's used to seeing a lot of pucks. Hopefully he can keep it up. The best thing is he's only 22. I like what I saw last night though

He couldn't pull his usual "smack guys on the back of the leg as I go to the bench talking trash" move. He actually had to stand and fight a guy. Too bad Datsyuk isn't a great fighter. I would love to see someone knock Corey Fairy's block off! Ryan played a real chippy, cheap shot kind of game too. He knocked so many Red Wings in the back - it was ridiculous! I can't stand those guys.

That's why he went after Datsyuk. Cause he knows he's a bad fighter.

I couldn't find anything about what was wrong. Preliminary tests were negative. He just collapsed a little over two minutes in to the game. He wasn't hit or anything. There was a stoppage and the dude just collapsed flat on his back. Very scary. He was awake and alert later at the hospital, but they haven't said what was wrong.

Medical personnel were called in immediately from both benches. Very scary to watch.

I know it was weird. They said when he woke up that he wanted updates of the game. Hopefully they can figure out what happened so he doesn't have to wonder what the he'll happened

I hope it is nothing more than a young guy getting hyped up for a game, but it just looks bad when a finely tuned athlete passes out like that.

Me to and they said he had a concussion probably from the fall. My hope is that he got nervous and passed out and maybe he hit his head on the ice giving him a concussion and knocking him out..

It just reminded me of the day Hank Gathers died. You are probably too young to remember, but Hank Gathers died in a WCC tournament game against Univ. of Portland. He went up for a huge dunk, came down, and as he was running back down the court, he just collapsed. Scary, scary moment I will never forget. Seriously though, watching this goalie go lights out like that just reminded me of Hank.

I've seen it. I watched the ESPN 30 on 30 or whatever it's called on Loyola. I was thinking the same thing when i saw it

KPENN - Flyers looked pretty good last night against the Avs. Must have been nice to see Pronger back in the lineup.

I'm going to the Kings home opener against the Thrashers tonight. Can't wait. Then, October 30th, Kovalchuk comes to town. I've heard some players get boo'ed pretty good in L.A. - Rob Blake is at the top of that list - but no one is going to equal Kovy in terms of venom spewing forth from a fan base. Right, wrong, or indifferent, L.A. fans are bitter towards him and he is going to hear it on the 30th.

So far the season is pretty interesting for So Cal hockey. The Ducks are 0-3 so I am happy about that. The Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan line has been blanked so far, the Ducks have been outscored 13-2, and Hiller has a 4.62 GAA.

However, as much as I love it that the Quacks absolutely suck in every way imagineable, I want to meet them in the playoffs at some point. Only a playoff meeting between L.A. and the Sucks would solidify the rivalry. If they don't find some answers on D fast, the Ducks won't even sniff the playoff picture this year. Boo-freakin'-hoo!

GO KINGS!!!

I just saw that. There is some talk that they might actually get fined for that as a violation of the CBA. Only under "emergency circumstances" is it okay to dress fewer than, 17 skaters, I believe. This hardly constitutes an "emergency".

If their record continues to be sub-par and if Kovy can't start finding the back of the net, I wonder how long it will be before the organization and coaching staff starts to feel the heat.

I don't go on other teams boards too much, so it is hard for me to gauge other fans' feelings. Being on the East Coast, what do you think is the general consensus for the New Jersey fans' feelings towards the Devils?

Honestly not to many people care about the Devils. Most nights the building is half empty. I mean they are in a tough spot being so close to Philly and NYC. So a lot people in the area like the flyers and rags. I know at least when the flyers are in town a good portion of the crowd is flyer fans and it's worse when the rags come to town. I know a guy that I know who likes the devils wasn't to high on the kovy signing. But I guess we'll find out soon enough.

One thing I've found humerous is how many people picked the devils to win the Atlantic and the east. In my opinion the flyers are better and the penguins are better. And if they begin to struggle they aren't gonna be able to make a move. I think this whole kovy thing is gonna be a swing and a miss.

Sorry about the small story there. Lol

The best part of it was his look as he skated off the ice. I would be so ashamed to be drawing a paycheck that large and not even be able to get the puck on net during a shootout! I am so relieved the Kings "lost out" on Kovalchuk!

Haha to funny. He also had a break down the right side towards the end of the game and shot it into about the 20th row. Fans started booing him pretty good last night. Lol at the devils and kovy
