Those early 2000's series vs the Flyers still hurt.

My ideal run to the cup would be - Flyers/Bruins/Panthers. All have scarred me to my soul lol.

Im glad I got to witness them win 3 cups, but Stan Bowman sent the franchise into a tailspin. Ill give Kyle Davidson 2 more years to see if he can turn it around. At least Toronto's loss moved the pick the hawks got from the McCabe and Lafferty trade to 25th

I'd be happy if the Flyers were worth watching. Its fun when your team wins but really all i can for is having a competitive team.

That was the issue with ND for so long was they were not actually competitive. Just good enough to toy with our minds.

Every team that is at the top of the sport for as long as Chicago was sucks after the fact. Just be happy your team capitalized on their window and didn’t end up like the Sharks

WTF? The Hawks are freaking loaded with talent and have another 5 first round picks in the next three drafts.
This team will be competing for .500 next year and then be in the playoff for the next decade.

My best friend growing up played 13 years in the NHL, including a stop in Edmonton. He said it is nuts, hard for bottom 6 guys and almost impossible for stars. I don't know anyone who played in Toronto, and my HS coach played for the Habs in the 80s but I assume it is similar or worse.

Yeah, those poor guys. Somehow they have it much easier than the Yankees, Dodgers, Celtics, Lakers, or like any huge European soccer team etc. The idea that the media in Toronto is somehow the reason for these guys shitting the bed is laughable. Boo fucking hoo.
