Not happy with the Hawks tonight, especially with the Cubs advancing, the Royals advancing and the White Sox sitting on their asses like a bunch of pathetic chumps. So many missed opportunities, but it's early and we knew that it would take time for the new pieces to adjust. So far 2-2 isn't ideal, but Panarin has looked dominant, Teravainen has found a location and when Dano gets back up, we should be a lot more dynamic offensively. Still not pleased with this one in the slightest. Offense was very lazy tonight.

What is up with that? Kings have 2 goals in their first three games - all against Pacific Division opponents. I know it is still early, but geez they suck so far. I feel like I am watching the Kings circa 2006.

I didn't get to the watch the Isles or Caps game, so I didn't hear the taunting. Apparently it went on in New York, but not sure about Washington. Doesn't take away from the fact that it's totally classless. Not to mention the fact that he, still has yet to be charged with anything after all this time. So it's rather ignorant of fans to pass judgment on him when it's looking like the whole thing was a hoax.

I have a few Blackhawks fans that attended the cup final back in 2010, and their reception from Flyers fans were...less than stellar to say the least. Still, nothing comes anywhere near as bad as Vancouver.

To top off the White Sox's horrific managing somehow missing an open door to a playoff birth, the Bears' baffling loss to the Lions and the Bulls circus of injuries and personnel issues. It's tough to be a Chicago fan in general...

Went to my 1st game at the UC tonight, was an absolute blast. Atmosphere is awesome, not quite as good as an ND game but still a blast. Plus The Captain sniped home another W.

I am really surprised the Ducks are as bad as they are. Even though my hatred for the Quacks runs deep, I actually want them to be good to strengthen the rivalry. I wonder how much longer they will give Boudreaux to get the ship righted. I don't think the organ-I-zation will do anything just yet, but as we approach the quarter pole of the season, I think the heat will get turned up more and more on the coach.

I am sure you do. I don't really understand the logic behind this trade for the Kings, but at least it isn't too expensive. I really liked Weal through his minor career, but Kings still have a lot of good forwards in the pipeline.
