Dammit, thought I still had time went to take a piss. I come out and the Blues are celebrating.

Not like me to freak out after one game but my level of concern is a 10 out of 10. Blackhawks haven't looked really right the whole 2014 calendar year. I have hopes they can flip the switch come playoff time but that remains to be seen if they can.

Damn 51, you're usually full of optimism. You didn't expect to win two games in STL, did you? They need one game, that's it. Even if they come back down two, it's still a series.

It's obvious STL isn't the same team right now and they're going to struggle chasing the hawks around for 7. We'll see what happens.

Yeah we aren't the same team. But we're only going to get better as the series goes on IMO. Oshie might be back tommorow, should definitely by Game 3. Berglund has played great since the Olympics and will be back sometime. That was Tarasenko's first game in weeks and he looked fantastic. Miller looks like he got some confidence back.

Home ice is less relevant in the NHL so I take a loss as a loss a win as a win. I'm really don't care about if it is at St. Louis or Chicago.

Yea I am not so much concerned about losing game one. As a sports fan I'm usually pretty rationale and pragmatic in a 7 game series. Yes the Blackhawks could easily still win the series.

My concern level stems from the way the team has looked since the start of the 2014 calendar year.

It remains to be seen. I say 50 percent chance right now which means 50 percent chance they lose by my logic. Thus my concern is pretty high.

Lapierre didn't flop. He just lost an edge and went down as Kane and his sticks hit each other and the ref made the wrong call. I'll admit that one was weak but blame the ref not the Blues

And well yeah Roy is a flopper. My least favorite Blues player on this team
