I'm not one to complain, but how does PK Subban keep getting away with this crap? Just slew footed Elias and it led to the tying goal.

Kids a helluva player but has no respect for the game. Him playing for Montreal doesn't help either.

He is this generation's Tie Domi, Sean Avery, Ulf Samuelsson... you freaking HATE him unless he plays for your team... if he does play for your team, you LOVE the guy.

I for one would LOVE to have him on the Pens...

Geeez that's absolutely horrifying. Makes me appreciate the full cage and Kevlar neck guard I wear in my men's league. Just started wearing a compression shirt with an integrated neck guard a few years ago.

That was always my biggest fear when I played. I just about had a teammate lose a finger during a practice. Like ACAMP said, it's shocking it doesn't happen more often.

Stuff like that happens all the time, you just don't hear about it. It's the risk of the game. Guys have 2 swords in their feet, 1 big wooden stick with a blade in their hands and a gladiator armour with boxing gloves. Add that to the incredible speed of the game and the very hard surfaces your playing on. Just to get a little perspective. They say a hockey hit on the boards in the NHL is 30% more impactful than an NFL hit. I played for about 20 years, and you wouldn't believe how many times I dodged the bullet of a potentially serious cut or injury. It's a dangerous sport at time, but you learn to protect yourself and be lucky I guess. I must say, it is not as bad as it used to be too. They are doing serious efforts to protect the players.

The only thing I would say that really bugs me is the inconsistency of the suspensions. Slap on the wrist after slap on the wrist. It's a joke. This needs to be addressed, and everybody knows it. Yet, nothing happens.

What a joke, how does Faulk make the squad over J. Johnson and Yandle?

May be my Devils homerism but Schneider should have made it over Howard. He's been mediocre and injured for the most of the time.

Poile is a moron and will be run out of USA Hockey if USA doesn't medal. I'd love to be proven wrong though. Going to have to take an another incredible effort from either Miller or Quick.

Thought they made some weird choices for team USA. Still, it's a very good group of guys with a lot of character. If this team bonds on the ice, I think they will do very well. I'm anxious to see who Yzerman will be picking. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when that comes out.
