I'm guessing it'll be a fairly clean game. Usually games where people anticipate shenanigans nothing ends up happening. Although I could see Simmonds maybe going after Neal.

I dunno, this long of a layoff after things have been festering and the guys are itching to get back on the ice. I could see this being a pretty nasty game. I agree with you, but sometimes the first time teams play after not playing for a while (1st meeting of the season) it can turn in to quite a brewhaha!

Yeah true.

Btw it's kind of interesting it looks like Schenn is gonna start the year off on 1st line RW. I'm interested to see how he does there. He played well in the playoffs, so hopefully it can carry over.

I wouldn't be surprised if byslma pairs Neal on the top line lavy puts simmer on the ice to start.


Wish asham was still on the pens after running at Brayden. Would of loved to see luke grab ahold of em. Guess well have to wait for NYR for that..

Yeah it'll be interesting. I would love to see Simmer go after Neal, but i'm not sure how big Laviolette is on the whole revenge thing.

HUGE orange and black man. I agree these games rarely turn out to be anything like the fight card anticipation they normally get, but the more and more i think about it this game could be a powder keg, another example is letang grabbing ahold of Timmo and dropping the gloves last year in the ECQF.

Wells Fargo is gonna be bumping for a national televised game after a half year without hockey. It's the penguins.

All the elements are present.

Really hope pierre mcguire isn't between the benches for the flyers pens game..

I think we can all agree ...pierre mcguire sucks.

He will be probably, since the Flyers vs Pens game will probably be NBC's "A" crew.

He's terrible. He picks his favorites and sticks with them. I remember one night the Flyers were up in Toronto, I think it was the 10-11 season. The Flyers beat the Leafs and Pierre named Richards his "monster" of the game. And i'll never forget it Richards had like 1 shot, 0 points and Pierre went on and on gushing about him. He does a great job making himself look dumb.
