Yep deals tentatively agreed too. Games should start anywhere from January 15th-19th

YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Will they keep the previously released schedule and just start playing based of the old schedule? Or will a new schedule be released?

Either way, Hockey is back!!! Thank God! After tomorrow, the only thing i had looked forward to watching is soccer and rugby. Basketball just doesnt do it for me as of lately.

Drafting up a new schedule that'll be 48 or 50 games and it'll be all inside the conference

They may play a very abbreviated set of non Season games (maybe 3?) and go right into the regular season. Very likely to play only Conference games. No East vs West until the Cup is being decided is my guess. That was some speculation I saw on ESPN a couple weeks ago assuming they reached an agreement in early January.

Awesome! I had hoped they would draft up a new one. Cannot wait to get over to The Joe for a game. It just doesnt feel right with no hockey.

I heard the players want 1 preseason game, so more than likely it'll be 0 or 1

It's hockey time! Too bad Kopitar will be out for a month after suffering a knee injury in the Swedish league. That means he's gonna miss half the season lol

Yeah, but tomorrow Quick is expected to be medically cleared to play. Kopi's knee is mostly precautionary. Having Quick 100% is much more vital to this team. Kind of nice having that flexibility in our top 6 forwads. Richards will move up to the first line for a while. No worries.

Oh God it feels good to talk hockey again!

WOO-HOO!!! Let's go KIIIIIIIIIIIINGS!!!

Too bad we won't be able to hear David Courtney annouce "Your Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings!"

Flyers suck. Go Penguins! Glad to have hockey with no ND or Steelers football left, and not even Spring training!

Do we have an Irish Envy Fantasy Hockey League? If not, anybody interested? I'll start one up if so.

My Rangers are clearly the favorites IMO. Added Rick Nash to an already stacked team with a great mix of talent and veteran leadership on offense and defense.
