This whole deal is WAY more Belichick than any one player...

Maybe, but I remember him going 36-44 at Cleveland. Then 5-11 his first year in New England followed by an 0-2 start before Bledsoe got hurt and Brady came in. Bill started looking like a lot better coach right about then. Like I said, same criticism people had about Montana.

How much of a Trump move would it be to show up at the Super Bowl and sit in Kraft's box with Gronk, Ben Affleck, and Steven Tyler?

Cleveland w Belicheck was a super bowl fav before the move was announced.. that's a fact... then Art pulled his bs and it fell apart... for the record... this 'he failed in Cleveland' stuff is ALMOST as laughable as this goat bullshit.

I'd love to hear Gilette start the slow "Roooger! Roooger!" chants from Pedro vs. Clemens at Fenway Park circa 2001.

Sounds like all this greatest QB of all time talk deserves its own poll!

I get why people think Brady is a product of Belichick, but I still think he is the no-brainer for the Space Jam argument. If you NEED to win one game, I think Brady has to be the guy.

Can't wait to hear Tomlin's excuses after this one. He's the David Shaw of the NFL.

Tell me about it. He's low energy in the worst way. Crazy that in the last ten years, he still hasn't come up with any sort of effective gameplan for New England, not even once. Every time they play, it's incredibly predictable..New England will throw the rock 40-50 times. They will take what the Steelers give them, usually wide open...oh and they'll let the Steeler offense self destruct on national tv.

It would be big league. You know Donald, he surrounds himself with winners.

Rock. See below... the Pats are the TEAM I'd take in the playoffs... give me any random offense with a QB to pick? I never even consider Brady and sleep very soundly... he's not the best QB of this generation imo... sorry.

Who's better? There was a time i'd argue Manning, but jesus Brady is heading to his 7th superbowl. That's incredible. Plus he's throwing to guys like Julian Edelman, imagine if he had Julio Jones, Jordy Nelson, or Antonio Brown.

Adam Schefter reporting that Tom Brady was at least generally aware of the incident and will be suspended through the 2020-21 season.

As ridiculous as this might be. It's really not that far off. Patriots after 9/11 are seriously fodder.

If they laid for that WR talent somewhere else in the team would suffer.

Yep. One of the smarter thing Brady has always done is to take less money and have a smaller cap hit. More money to spend on other parts of the team. Helps when your wife is making more money than you.

This right here.

Dude was putting up numbers that were obliterating record books when he had over-the-hill Randy Moss catching his passes.

Imagine if the Patriots would have somehow hit the jackpot on a superstar WR to pair with Brady for the past decade.

Your point is valid when it comes to the Patriots win-loss record, but GATTACA's point is still valid when it comes to Brady's individual statistics. It's not like Brady has been a middling QB led to Super Bowls by dominant defenses, he has the third highest career passer rating of all time, behind only Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, guys who are significantly younger than TB12.

Exactly. Brady had an old Randy Moss for two seasons. The next closest thing is Gronkowski, who's been injured more often than not and was in MIDDLE SCHOOL when TB12 won his first Super Bowl.

His career numbers are dragged down too by playing when the NFL was more of a running game and before rules were tweaked to help the passing game.

Hahahaha. You can't be serious. He's played during the time when you can't breath on a WR or you get a flag. And when you can't even look at him or you're ejected.

Irishfan is talking about Brady as compared to Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, in which case he was correct. Brady's early career was under the "old rules."

Oh shit I'm at work and phrased that horribly haha I meant his early years like 2001-2005! He led the league in passing TDs in 2002 and they would be pedestrian numbers today for a QB.
