Denver Broncos,
You know Peytons big game implosion is coming. Why not today? Against the Colts would be ironic.
Thanks, BobD

Idk what to expect in this. Colts defense really needs to show up, im not worried about the Colts scoring cus Luck will make it happen one way or another

I guess it will be interesting to see which team the Pats get to beat next week...

Turning point right there if it is a fumble. Colts had their boot on Manning's throat.

Geez i love Luck but sometimes he makes some of the most boneheaded throws, hopefully this goes away with time

I don't want to see Peyton go out like this. I know he plans on returning next year, but he looks old and just can't throw that well any more.

I think it's time for Peyton to hang it up. Unless his injury he's had these last few games is something that can be fixed easily with surgery or off-season rest, I just don't see why he would want to come back and play at this level.

He can't throw to the boundaries to save his life. As a Pats fan, I came into this game rooting for the Colts cause I thought they'd be the easier opponent next week. As the game went on, I completely flipped to rooting for Denver. Their offense is a joke with his lack of arm strength right now.

Agree with the sentiment that it's time for him to hang it up. Even if his issue can be fixed, I don't see him staying healthy for a full season. Honestly if I'm the Broncos I'm ready to move on and find the next QB for the franchise. I think I would let John Fox go too. You can't lose in your first playoff game with that kind of talent. The Colts aren't even that good minus Luck and the Patriots should stomp them.

I have hated Peyton for a lot of his career (only because he was so damn good), but I have grown to really appreciate the guy. Tough watching him like that.

Slow clap for Manning. I hope for his future self's sake that he takes this opportunity to bow out. Was a brilliant career and he redefined the position. Was an honor to battle him so many times, and I'm a little disappointed we won't get to do it one more time next weekend.

As a citizen of Indy, I've had the pleasure to cheer and watch Peyton since he was drafted. His contributions to this city (Chidren's Hospital and many other philanthropic endeavors) along with his football accomplishments will mean more to this city then many realize. Today was the first time I have seen him where it looked like Father Time has caught up with him. I hope he bows out gracefully unlike Johnny U and YA Tittle.

Manning now Luck. I like that.

Manning: 6-21 on passes 5+ yards downfield tonight. Time to hang it up.

Manning's last 6 games: 120-201 (59.7%), 1,380 yards, 6 TDs, 6 INTs

Passer rating of 77.9 in those 6 games. Which would be good for 29th in the league, sandwiched between Stanton and Geno Smith.

What the hell happened? He was amazing in the first 11 games of the year.

There's been speculation about a problem with his leg(s). No one has been able to get a real scoop on it, so no one knows for sure at this time.

I don't understand how people can be so dismissive of a player who may be battling an injury. He may decide to hang it up but it appears you want to push him out the door. I thought he was definitely going to win at least one ring in Denver. If he's still hungry and he can recover from these injuries, then I'd love to see him come back.

Thigh injury confirmed by Schefter. Changes my mind a bit that he should 100% retire.

Either way, if he can't come back at a top level, he should go. No one wants to see a full season of Peyton playing at a Dalton-level.

Elway built that whole offense around Peyton, and it cost them big time. He's owed something like ~19 million next season, and they have so many free agents to worry about. I think he would be doing the franchise a diservice if he came back at that price unless he can prove this spring that he can return to his 2013 level.
