Draft date is the 4th, so I'm going to enter the keepers at midnight on the 31st to give people enough time to plan ahead and get their draft boards in order. That is unless everyone has given me their keepers before then.

I would like to again comment that our keeper policy is way too rewarding. Someone who happens to get a James Conner or other good player as an UDFA can basically keep that player for 8+ years before they even have to think about another option. UDFAs should be kept in a much earlier round (i.e. 12) and the penalty for keeping should be much higher than 1 round. 3 rounds to me makes much more sense.

What if starting next year UDFAs are Round 12 picks and the penalty is 3 rounds for all other players? That lets you keep a UDFA for year 1 (round 12), year 2 (round 9) and year 3 (round 6).

Alternatively, keepers could be dropped to 2 total. It's not really fun when 15 of the top 25 players are not even draftable.

I am in a complaining mood here is another...the draft should be 16 rounds. In a snake draft you can't have the #1 team picking first in the last round as well. They are supposed to be getting the worst option for kickers or defenses. I guess I just noticed this since I am the 11th pick.

I tend to agree with your first part. Someone like Alvin Kamara might retire before Rhode has to give him up. That doesn't seem that fun to me.

- There are no limits to the amount of seasons a player can be kept for, until said player would be the equivalent of a 2nd round pick.

I felt okay about my keepers until I saw that Evil has Deshaun Watson, Juju Smith-Schuster and Tyreek Hill for 12/13/14.

That's crazy lol. I would have to have a perfect draft to have a chance at competing with any roster he builds (unless he totally fucks up his draft lol).

Yeah I was shocked Cook and Williams both fell to 24. They make me nervous too but at 48/49 I love the value.
