In another league, I'm relying on Eli Manning as my QB, which isn't great, but I've got my eyes on a trade for Matthew Stafford, who is going to do nothing but throw the ball all year long. His numbers since they changed o-coordinators last year have been efficient and off the charts, so I'm a believer.

I sent an initial offer, and my opponent countered with:

Eddie Lacy ---> Matthew Stafford and Latavius Murray

I nearly took it, but I decided to make a counter-counter to feel him out:

Eddie Lacy and Eli Manning ---> Melvin Gordon and Matthew Stafford


I trust Gordon more than Murray, but they'll both get their goalline touches.

If he rejects my counter, do you all think Lacy for Murray and Stafford is decent?

I think Murray is better than Lacy by himself. I would do that in a heartbeat.

You do know your bye weeks ahead of time. You shouldn't have 3 QBs on your team, period. So that's 3 of 6.

The only reason Jimmy G is on your team is because you are a homer. He should have been dropped 2 weeks ago. But enough free advice.

At that point he was 42/59-496-4-0 through six quarters of football and he looked like a legitimate upgrade over Eli Manning for weeks 3 and 4. Once he got hurt, I tried to cancel my waiver claim but Yahoo wouldn't let me.

Eli is going to be throwing all game considering the top 2 RBs are out this week. But that's besides the point. If you dropped Jimmy (a) no one would pick him up and (b) you would have another healthy backup RB or WR.

Eifert is injured and no way in hell he matches 13 TD's again. Who the f$$k is DeAndre Washington? (I'm being facetious, but you get my point)

I assume the person on the other end of that trade is like 12. Charles has yet to play and it's been put out there that he's not gonna be the man when he comes back.
