I like to go with a RB as a flex, especially in a 10-team league where it's realistic to grab three sure-fire workhorses.

BUT I do like your team, especially that receiving corps, and especially if Jennings shows to be a legit #1 RB.

Where did you draft Eifert? He goes early in my leagues because there are usually plenty of Bengals fans involved. I feel like he would be a steal as a late-round starter in leagues in other parts of the country, where you could ignore TE until late in the draft and grab Eifert to be your guy.

Thanks Lion. Yeah I'm on the fence with that flex, I think I may slot Abdullah in there if Bell isn't a go for week 1. Thinking about Jennings as well.

I picked up Eifert in the 12th round. I thought it might have been a bit of a reach as I most likely could have gotten him off FA, but the idea of him being the #2 target behind Green was too good to not draft him. Yup I was thinking the same thing, I just forgot about TEs after Graham went and waited till the last few rounds to pick one up.

I'm a homer, but it wouldn't surprise me if Eifert scores 12+ TD's this year. With Green on one side and Marvin Jones/Mohamed Sanu splitting the outside and the slot opposite Green, Eifert should be a nightmare for opposing LB's all year, especially in the redzone. He just needs to stay healthy.

Im co-commish in a league. We're at 14 teams and two others are interested. Should I expand it to 16. Anyone done a 16. 14 is pretty fun but I'm thinking 16 is too much. Thoughts?

I think 14 is too much, but I guess it matters how competitive you want it to be. The more teams you have, the more the points get spread out.

I think 16 is for sure to much.

I have an 8 team league now, I'm trying to push to add 2 more teams.

What does everyone think is an ideal number?

I thought 14 would be too much, but it ended up being a lot of fun and not as bad as I thought. It was standard scoring and people were still reaching 100+ with some reaching 150. I'm having a hard time believing 16 will be the same but I know the two guys and it'll be hard to turn them down

Sorry for the back to back, but for me it's probably 12. I played in a ten and a 14 last year and ten was by far less fun for me.

at 12 you are really scraping the free agent barrel pretty often, any more than that would be very low scoring

On the other side of the spectrum, I don't like only having 8 like in my league because every team is stacked. It becomes more about who to play from your roster as opposed to who your playing against.

Teams in my league have no problems with 12. Twice last season we had a team score 200 points and several times people get close. I could see a non PPR league having to "scrape the barrel", but that has not been my experience at all with 12. You certainly have to utilize free agents and work your roster, but where's the fun in fantasy if managing your roster isn't necessary?

Yeah if I remember correctly, Ironman and I both hit 200 in our 0.75 PPR league last year. I know I had a few where Brady, Gronk, and DeMarco Murray all went off in the same week.

Can I get in this league or what? Shoot me the info I will gladly fill in!
Ironman is the commish, so I'll defer to him. I'm thinking we should reach out to Kaneyoufeelit directly so we can fill the 12th with or without him.

I run a 12-team, non-ppr league, but we have standard roster sizes (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, HB/WR/TE, K, DEF), and we rarely see teams even approach 150 unless it's a huge week.

How many points are passing TD's in your league? We do 4 in ours.

We do 6, which when you add the PPR for the catch is 7... you know... like a TD ;)

Most weeks, 135 points will give you a chance to win in my league. But we have a couple guys over 150 on a weekly basis.

Getting past 105 in our league is usually a sign that you're on your way to a victory, though the top teams were putting out ~115 on a pretty regular basis last season.

I'd like to try PPR in my league, just to bring in some different strategy and more scoring, but I've been running it with the same guys for 8 years now. They don't like change.

It allows teams to make more moves to improve their team. #3 WR's have no value in a non-PPR league, which limits the amount of moves you can make in a week. If there are a lot of teams, then it's no fun if there isn't a depth of players to choose from.

One thing that I think is funny is that we still call non-PPR leagues, "standard leagues". When they are not the norm anymore. More people play PPR then don't nowadays. Maybe that would be a way to get your league to consider it. Tell them standard leagues are the flip phone of fantasy football. lol

So I'm seeing that we switched to a keeper league, as discussed before. How many am I allowed to keep?

Kelvin Benjamin just went down with a non-contact injury during 1-on-1s. Some saying it doesn't look good. Saw the video, could be an ACL/MCL.

Kelvin Benjamin may have a serious injury. FYI for anyone with an early draft.

not sure why people would hold drafts this early, like you barely can know anything until after week 3 of preseason
