Flight tracker is the best and it only works because no one would fly private to South Bend for virtually any other reason.
Idk,… with the way y’all white boys hype up Hacienda,…

OFEI, ODE, and OBD comparisons by year for ND OCs, Ludwig, and Lewis. Table is color-coded by team.

OFEI: per-possession scoring advantage each offense would be expected to have on a neutral field against an average opponent
ODE: scoring value gained or lost per offensive drive
OBD: percentage of offensive drives that gain zero or negative yards

Shows Ludwig is very impressive. Got better every year at Vandy. Utah offenses, besides the COVID year, have been really good.

I think Ludwig would be a home run higher but I feel like ND is gonna have to open up the cash if they are gonna convince him to leave his home state

Ludwig I believe made $1.25m last year. I would think a $750K - $1m salary bump would give anybody something to seriously think about.

Since it is not my money I think we go hard at him and offer 3 million plus use of the private so he can go back to Utah.

ND Insider article had it at $450k. Can’t imagine that would be a problem.

Do coordinators often have multi-year contracts and buyouts? (for that matter, did Rees have a buyout? He was pretty well-paid by this season.)

These days, yes, coordinators will often sign 2-3 year deals. I think Golden signed a 3yr deal with ND.

The length and buyout numbers aren’t enough to dissuade a team from hiring a coordinator as a new HC, but can sometimes be a hinderance and make lateral moves difficult. They’re usually doable for the more prestigious teams to poach a coordinator though.

No idea on the length or terms of Rees’ deal at ND.

I’d say Notre Dame could use the Rees buyout, but weren’t they weird when Kelly left and they just let him go without enforcing the buyout?
