Hey 20 years ago ND was still great team to cheer for, it was about 15 years ago when things fell apart.

They need a new coach. They are playing with a triangle roster in D'Antoni's up tempo offense. Something has to change and with Phil Jackson looming, might just be easier to change in the off season. Rumors have Amare/Chandler possibly going to Orlando for D12. So much hangs over the team, Mike D will be gone barring some miracle run.

And if you fire D'Antoni, trade for Howard.... etc they'll still struggle.. The NBA right now and even NCAAB is point guard driven.

It would help if Melo and Amare would be healthy, then play some D.

I think Bynum and anyone else on the lakers that isnt named Gasol or Bryant is a better deal for ORL. As a lifelong Lakers fan, Brittle Bynum cant get off the roster fast enough for me.

If you think that it's tough being a knick fan now, how bad will it be when you are looking uo at the Nets in the standings. I never thought I would see the day.

Bulls fan here, but I live in Denver and have watched a lot of Carmelo over the years. I think that New York would benefit from a different coaching philosophy.

Carmelo and Amare both do not do well in an offense predicated on spreading the floor and catching their opponent in transition. Both like to have the ball and create either a shot or a pass, and that is not D'Antoni's style. His style wants to catch slower, less athletic teams out in transition and attack them while they are backpeddling. If he cant do that, he wants to pick and roll. That style simply does not fit their personnel, and unfortunately for him, his team is rarely the faster nor more athletic team. His team is the more talented team with better ball handling skills. So they need to play to their strengths instead of their weaknesses.

Don't even get me started. I was at the Bobcats home blowout. Clearly D'antoni needs to go because he doesn't have the right players for his system. I think a healthy Baron Davis solves the pg problem, but who knows when he is coming back. We are giving away our first round pick to Houston this summer unless we finish in the bottom 5 (i think) so I just hope we don't barely miss the playoffs and still not have a first rounder.

They just look lost. Even without a true PG, they should beat a lot of the teams they are losing to. I know from playing basketball, you can often win on talent alone. It is incredibly frustrating to think that they were going to be good, and then get this. I hope Baron changes things, but it seems bigger than that.

They are not a seven second or less team. They need to not shoot 43 three pointers in a game. Tony Douglas is garbage at the PG. Amare seems less explosive to me.

Fan of the Pistons. I think we are 4-17 and you are 7-13. We play Tuesday. You will kick our ***. So don't worry, a win is on the way for ya.

I have few words for my Knickerbockers... My Anthony Mason jersey is collecting dust. I can't even be bothered to watch.

Carmelo Anthony was a bad choice.

Man, I've been waiting for a win like that!

I'd love to eat crow (reference my previous post two spots up)... Here's to hoping for a hot streak into the playoffs.

Good win for you Knickerbockers. It was a crazy game with the Bulls coming back from down twenty, but your team refused to give up. Congrats on the win, see ya again in the first round of the playoffs.

Cheers.
