Am I right that Jeff Quinn is available? He has to get a look in at some point as we go down the list right? He was pretty good when you think about how HH was this year.
You must have forgotten about the entire 1st half of the 2021 season. That wasn't the first time Quinn's OLs failed to gel. Harry's 2022 wasn't even close to Quinn's debacle of 2021.

I got my creeper on and noticed Brian Callahan hasn’t tweeted in a few days. He’s gone radio silent. For $9.99 a month you can get more tidbits like this from me.

ISD name dropped 4 guys who ND has been in contact with regarding the opening.

Joe Rudolph, Brian Callahan, AJ Blazek and Mike Devlin.

Thanks for update.

Well, that’s not exactly a Murderer’s Row of candidates.

Rudolph seems decent. I guess maybe ok on Devlin. Callahan and Blazek seem total mehs.

I'd be pretty happy with Callahan personally. He's done a lot for Minnesota's run game with little to no talent. And when teams know they're going to run as well.

Actually, looking at Devlin a bit closer and he seems perhaps the most suspect out of the group.
The Texans had some awful O-lines, as did the Jets before that. Plus, he’s only done a 2 year stint in college- at Toledo and 18 years ago.
Biggest worry though is that after the regime change in Houston, he didn’t land another job. So he was out of work a year, then only got a job as an assistant when he did get hired.

But maybe he’s just the O-Line version of Pete Carrol and needs a good college job after a couple decades of mediocrity in the pros.

I don't know about little to no talent.

He developed former John Michael Schmitz into the #1 OC/OG in this year's draft. First Team All-American.

Former 4.5* Chuck Fillaga transferred over from MI - 3rd Team All-B1G

Axel Ruschmeyer - OG - 3rd Team All B1G

Aireontae Ersery LT - All B1G - HM

Quinn Carroll started at RT for them. All B1G - HM

That's what I'm saying. He developed all of those guys to great results despite not having high recruit rankings coming out of high school. Minnesota's website said that all 5 of their offensive lineman in 2021 were All Big 10 team. That's pretty damn impressive.

I think the drop off from Matt Luke to any of these 4 guys is steep.

Maybe one of them will be great, but can't help but feel like you're in bed with Margot Robbie one night, then in bed with Rack 'Em's mom for the next several years.

You would think ND would be able to get a top level O-line coach. This is a bit worrisome.

I’d consider that offer

I’d be happy with Callahan or Rudolph. I wouldn’t be too excited about Devlin.

I think both Rudolph and Blazek would be solid. Rudolph has the best upside/pedigree for sure.

Always chicken little

I guess. It seems others have been too confident in our coveted coaching positions.

Rees leaves his Alma Mater after one year.

Hiestand leaves after one year.

Two OC's say no and Freeman has to go with the in house candidate.

And now we have an underwhelming list for our 'O-line U' coaching position.
