I like it more for the fact that he has OC experience in the SEC for that matter. 3 guys on staff w/ play calling experience? I guess it could be too many voices type thing, but if they can work it out, WOW. That would really be something.

I just hope CJ Carr likes these moves.

interviewed tuesday and a response by thursday - unless hes just been waiting on this opportunity thats a quick decision. I'm guessing it isnt Luke but would love to be wrong.

Yeah, I’m trying not to get my hopes up.

If a decision is looming, then that means an offer was made. I would guess the quick turnaround means MF made the offer, and needs an answer so as to know if he has to move on to other guys.
If a guy like Luke needs until Monday (just throwing another day out there) to decide if he’s coming, seems like you may need to give him that time though. For Luke, it’s a different decision for him if he’s coming. Other guys are simply deciding if they’re moving from city X to South Bend to continue work. Luke has to not only decide if he wants to move from Athens to South Bend, but if he wants to work at all right now.

yes, and maybe if hes interviewing hes already made the decision on work or not. But if this was a hey ND is a special place is hould listen and then i still need to decide on work or not is a whole different thing.

Gotta think, as well, that with news getting out Luke interviewed, somebody like Smart is calling him and telling him he can get him 300k to be an analyst and work 9-5. And let him know he has a staff job waiting for him if and when he decides he’d like one.

We better have someone else ready to go quick if Luke says no. Don’t like that his name got out before any deal was done.
