Fair, but even when he was there he was always more apt to say good things about the Irish rather than tear them down.

He's been super high on the Irish for weeks now. Last night's reaction show have us credit but made a lot of excuses for Georgia.

Yeah, it didn't really bug me much because he's been saying ND could win it all for months. Georgia losing triggered an emotional response, I get it

It’s fun to watch all the YouTube film analysts and podcasts, who are usually laser focused on SEC or B10, realize there are so many ND fans. I feel like all the videos I watch it’s like “wow thanks for all the interaction and comments guys! This is awesome” and then you read the comments and it’s 100s of ND fans like “ur an idiot - Go IRish! ☘️”

Yeah, I would expect an emotional reaction from him given he's an alum, but as mentioned he's always been pretty fair to the Irish over the years even when his (former) colleagues will avoid any opportunity to say good things about us.

You sure it wasn’t his strict dietary needs. Dude is (or at least was) a super clean eater. I remember Rece Davis giving him a hard time about how he’s so health conscious on everything he ate/drank.
