He gets his info from the same places we get ours. When he says "signs are pointing to team xyz", he's just looking at the 247 crystal ball. So I wouldn't put too much stock in his opinion.

I know. He might be very slightly more informed. I was primarily posting the tweet since it references the time of his commitment.

Yea, huge get indeed. This is quite the bounce back for Brey. It also decreases the importance on the 21’ class with both Sanders and Wertz. Which seems valuable as the evaluation process for the 21’ class is so impaired due to Covid-19.

So what would it seem are the priorities for the 21’ class now? Wesley is an obvious.

Beyond that, I would think a PG to develop behind Hubb for a season. And another Big. Maybe a guy with better length and athletic ability than Zona.

Interview was probably around the 1st of April because his list was still 11 at the time. Found it interesting that ND was certainly not in the top group at the time because he rattled off some of the teams in his top 11 but couldn't name ND without looking at his phone. Anyhow, a week and half later we moved to the top.

Given that, my guess is he's going to get a shot to start and not sit out a year.

Nice pick up for ND BB this past weekend. I think ND has the chance to shock college basketball next year.

Hubb needs to step it up big time!

Not sure if this is the best thread, but Makur Maker just committed to Howard. Posted in here because Eric Atkins is now an assistant coach at Howard.

With all of the recent complaints of mistreatment by black athletes against some of their coaches, some have asked why these athletes don't go to HBCUs instead. Maybe this an anomaly, maybe the beginning of a trend.

He said he’s trying to make it a trend. We’ll see if he even makes it to college. Sounds to me like the G League is going to be making an even stronger run at the top guys next year.

I've seen highlights of Maker and whether he ends up going to college or to the G league he is going to have to buff up; not really impressed with him.

Nice!! I am a Riley grad myself. I know Louisville is also recruiting him hard. I was told that Blake is more flashy than Damezi was, but that could be a good thing for ND. ND basketball could use a little bit of swagger, I miss the Jerian Grant/Pat Connaughton teams, they talked the talk and walked the walk.
