Wishful thinking... the ONLY way is if HH doesn't have to go on the road and recruit... BUT, giving HH's history, he wouldn't have to... just teach/coach...

Every 6'3 300 pound white kid in the country would want to come play left guard under HH at Notre Dame. All he'd have to do is chill at home in the Midwest, grilling steaks and pissing All Americans.

I'm going to go out and say we only lose 1-2 guys in the 2022 class if any at all. This is already paying dividends. Recruits are fired up. I can only imagine how the guys feel.

He was coaching our lineman when he wasn't even working for us anymore. They were seeking our his tutelage because Quinn sucks and HH is just that damn good. Have someone else go on the road and do the recruiting for him.

If Tommy was a 15 year vet, I would say yes. But you simply can't have a young / quasi inexperienced OC with a green OL coach. The need someone who has been around the block a few times.

I don't understand why Harry can't be an analyst like Kerry Cooks. Cooks worked with the DB's last year.

Harry still lives in South Bend apparently. Let Chris Watt fly around the country recruiting kids and let Harry kick their asses when they come on campus.

Not confirmed yet but Prister and O’Malley said it is looking that way. Loy saying we should know for sure shortly.

Not sure how HH's style will mesh with Freeman's style. It seems clear that Freeman is a players coach, and HH rides players until they are the best or they break.

Wow. Huge. Had heard earlier today that he was leaning towards leaving after initially intending to stay.

So we’ve got Taylor, McNulty, and Elston staying for sure. All of those are huge.

Really says a lot about Freeman that these guys are choosing to stay when they have a decades long relationship with Kelly and a huge payday waiting for them at LSU They've known Freeman for like 9 months.

Guys — on Hiestand… he’s an awesome coach, but my understanding is that he doesn’t have the option to come back to ND because of some of his conduct. Don’t know if that’s changed, but that was the case when he left for the Bears.
