Great win for the Irish!

Smith could be the leader this team needs, Koehler played an all around game, they rebounded, the team has height.

My only question I had was when a newbie made a basket- who are you?

Maybe Shrews isn’t as bad as he looked last year. I say this because we had a lot of close games last year and it was always leaning on Burton and Haralson at closing time and they almost never got it done. Now they’re somewhere else and we have a better flow on offense.
Shrews was probably convinced they would leave if he didn’t build his offense around them. They’re gone and we are no longer standing around watching those two guy create their own shot.
I’m interested in how they use Burton at IU. When healthy he always took the last shot at ND and almost always missed it. If IU does that the coach will get fired

Of the big 3 that transferred out I think Certa is in the best situation. Where Burton and Haralson ended up we'll see how truely good they are.
I agree about having a better flow on offense and with Smith bringing up the ball. Ever since Shrews has taken over I don't think anyone on any of his teams has stepped up to be a leader and I think Smith could be that leader. Burton and Haralson don't seem like leaders to me.

I watched the 1st half before leaving for 11 AM mass. I was happy to see the offense have flow, good spacing and committing to different reads/actions off screens. Out of the big 3 that transferred, I wish we had Certa most with this line-up/roster.

Tried to watch it but local Detroit Fox opted for Lions pregame show instead, which really pissed me off. Caught a replay. Great comeback in the 2nd half.

Villanova is a top 40 Kenpom and projected 7 seed in the tourney. Great win for the boys ,just hope they can sustain it.

Certa will be ND's biggest loss this year. I think he got better and better last season (better than Haralson as well).
