Metal bats and college pitchers should leave some chances, with it being so early. But, they need to get out of this inning and start fast. As I type this he steals 3rd. Uncle!

Down 7-2 top of the 3rd with one out and a man on 1st. We gave up 6 runs and went through 4 pitchers in the bottom of the 2nd

They need a quick bottom of the 3rd and then get the bats going. They'll keep chipping away at it I think, but they can't let MSU keep tacking on. Kavadas needs to get involved somehow as well.

What a great season. Game 1 is what lost the series with 4 errors in a 1 run ballgame. Have to get that game when you’re on the road against a team of their caliber with that pitching staff.

Will be interesting to see what ND does with the baseball program now. They’ve got their best recruiting class in decades coming in to add to the team. I know there’s a booster trying to drum up money to keep Link too. They absolutely need a facility upgrade as well.

Tough 2nd inning for the Irish. I was surprised Bertrand didn't start unless if Link was saving him for bullpen work.

Either way great season for the baseball team.
