I think Clemson wins outright, and not just because they beat ND.

I think Lawrence is better than Jake Fromm, so he's gonna make enough plays... the key is that he's mobile enough to deal with pressure from Williams and his Bama cohorts. He's going to roll out away from pressure and connect on a couple of deep throws.

On the flip side, Tua's fragile ankle and knee are gonna get battered by Clemson's DL, and then Hurts isn't gonna find any running room if he's forced to play.

It's gonna be close, but I like Renfrow to be the hero once again on a late TD drive that REALLY starts the "Trevor Lawrence" legend.

ESPN has been pushing the narrative "You shouldn't be tired of Clemson vs. Alabama." If they have to come out and say it, that should tell you something. Ticket sales certainly speak for themselves. I miss when ESPN actually covered sports instead of pushing agendas.

Ticket sales have more to do with a terrible destination for the championship game.

Only people in attendance tonight will be rich tide fans, rich tiger fans, and rich football fans from the bay area.

The media is blaming venue/location, but it's more than that. Glendale, Arizona wasn't all that much shorter a distance compared to this year's game and it was more well received because the rivalry was still fresh. In past years even casual fans were interested in this game, but it's old hat now. I'm not watching tonight, as far as I'm concerned the season was over after the 1st.

I think Bama’s defense makes Lawrence run for his life & forces multiple turnovers. Hope I’m wrong...

Bama big. I like that a lot of their players have already graduated and get to wear a patch on their uniforms.

and Tua just hits a 60+ yard bomb for a TD lol..

i hope it's a shootout all game.

Lawrence & Co. better get their stuff together. I know it’s early & they’re feeling each other out, but Clemson needs an answer b/c Tua just exposed their safeties like I fantasized ND would. That was their Achilles Heel on defense & Bama went right after it.

Yeah Alabama puts together a better game plan in one week than our coaches do in 5 weeks.

And now Clemson comes back lol

The whole game changes when you have a QB that can throw a 40 yard pass in stride.

To be fair to our coaching staff, you need to have a quarterback who can throw it over the top and receivers who can get there to exploit a weak secondary.

This is why I would love if ND would attack Lbs and safeties in the passing gamE. Why they won’t do it is beyond me.

I think I'm rooting for Clempson to blow out Bama because that's the best argument for us belonging in the playoff picture. I think?

Wow! That 3rd & 14 deep ball was awesome. Nice to see him doing it to the best team of the decade this time...instead of the three he dropped on ND recently. Also nice to see Etienne break tackles vs Bama’s future pros as well. That kid really added strength between his frosh & soph season & it paid off.

You forgot an OL to actually allow the QB to wait long enough for a deep pass to develop...

Being the kicker or holder for Bama has to be the most stressful gig in CFB
