UGA's D plays a lot like Clemson's. Reckless and unaccounted for. A wins a win. But let's play clean.
That was another unsportsmanlike conduct like I've talked about in other threads.

In the replay, the guy was horizontal to the ground after It was clear the QB was going out of bounds.
If launching is a phrase used to help players.
This was one used to hurt.

You guys have pissed away 9 minutes of the 4th Q between the 20.

We need a score, a FG.

Is UGA just going to run out the clock?

Or do they emulate Saban and punch in the last TD chasing votes in the last polls?

It amazes me just how bad the Big12 Is anymore.
Is It coaching?
I think the narrative of terrible Defense that the media (ESPN) tried to run away from this year is the issue.
Too bad Hurts went to Oklahoma. The narrative would have changed for the whole conference.
BTW. I would have bet all my VBUCKS on points being scored in the 4th quarter.
Amazing.

Who'd a thunk It? Playing for the under. The guy literally ran backwards after the INT.

I think Kirby Smart cleared up a little of the mystery of the "undisclosed" players, "nobody was late for a meal, nobody missed the bus, nobody ..."

For the record: Kirby Smart seems to be a tool.

I can't believe he didn't hear me. I'm yelling "PICK 6!" "PICK 6!" ... "WRONG WAY!"

Yeah, I loved his quote about knowing his players were up for it when they weren't late for training or buses or meetings etc.

I guess he means the ones who bothered to turn up at all.

The issue with the Big 12 is simply talent. Outside of Texas, no one signs legitimate defensive prospects. The NFL draft shows this, too... the Big 12 has an embarrassingly low number of defenders drafted relative to other conferences (even the PAC12).

You couple the lack of talent with a conference built around offenses better suited for 7v7 summer camps and its not a surprise when they get throttled every year by physical teams.

If you were a quality defensive recruit from anywhere but maybe Texas or Oklahoma, why would you ever go to a Big 12 school? (Aside from the great Fresno-to-Norman pipeline of course). And A&M, LSU and other schools are all over the good Texas players.
I guess it could be a fun challenge to play corner in the Big 12 but mostly you're just getting dunked on all game. Or you can go to the SEC, learn from real defensive coordinators and train for the NFL.

Exactly. There are no good defensive coaches in the Big 12 and no schools that emphasize defense.

If you look at defensive players in Texas, there are 16 players that are rated a 90 or above on the composite. They are all going to the SEC or Texas, except for one 92 rating safety headed to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma's class has a 92 rating safety and 91 rating DT. The rest of their defensive recruits are between 86 and 89. And that is the top dog in the conference. Then when these kids develop, the same pattern is seen in the NFL draft where very few Big 12 defensive players matriculate to the NFL relative to other conferences.
