Yeah doing a quick search to help this guy out it seems as though the rosters are ab out 70% done for xbox... about 40% for PS3...

In the PS3 roster thread posters were giving them a hard time because "XBox is done already"... whatever.

Thanks ACamp, I searched through the OS forums earlier but couldn't sift through all of the arguing and whatnot. I did see that guy complaining about xbox being done already, what a jerkoff. And if xbox is done already, I don't know where he would have even found them.

Also, be aware that there are some false rosters floating around. Someone did the big six conferences and then auto-filled the rest of the rosters. I'm big into doing a dynasty with a bad team and turning it into a powerhouse, so this would have annoyed me badly. My favorite is Western Kentucky. Love the unis.

Those are all on both consoles. If you like cheap, serviceable online or really want a bluray player get a PS3. If you want to pay for a smoother online experience get the xbox.

PS3 if you like sports games more, XBox if you prefer shooters.

The controllers are better suited for those respective genres.

I cancelled my order. Too many complaints, with too little differences between this year and last year. Plus on operation sports they say that the cpu still can't run the option correctly.

Help me Madden, the Infinity engine is my only hope.

I am almost positive that the brown helmets that show up in night games only happen on the PS3 version. I watched a few youtube videos of Notre Dame in night games and could tell that it was xbox or PS3 because of the buttons. It seems like the xbox version looks just fine and they screwed it up on the PS3.

How do the patches work?! Do you just have to be hooked up to internet and it automatically happens when available? Or do you have to do a system update while in the game!?

How is it possible that EA is so imcompetent that ND's helmets look like a bag of asses at night, but look just fine during the day? They really can't handle a metalic finish on a helmet being different from day to night?

Those rosters all seem the same...they even screwed them up by changing numbers that cant be changed back. They took 4 off GAIII and 41 off Carlisle(who they changed to Tyler Plantz). Anyone know how to give duplicates? Also anyone know what number carlisle will officially wear?

I haven't seen it in the three games I've played so far. It's actually possible to throw a slant behind/overtop the linebackers when corners are in soft coverage now!

I started off on Heisman setting right away too, so I assume they did a pretty good job of fixing it... unless I've just been lucky for three games now.

In three games with many passes all over the middle of the field (deep, short, mid) I have not seen ONE super LB or DB... and I play on Heisman where you would almost expect it...

I have seen some very tight windows where the ball was just right (new passing system in action) and the Db couldn't get to it and the WR made an easy catch... this only happened in very specific angles (parts of the field) in past versions of this game... now it seems to happen ANY time the ball is delivered properly regardless... anywhere.

Just got the game today and I think it plays great. The run blocking still needs some work but the super LBs and psychic DBs seem to be gone. Run blocking, especially out of the shotgun, still sucks. At least the passing game is fixed.

I honestly think the read option is greatly improved this year... to me that was a loss of more oftne than not in years past... not it seems you can really light it up if you make the correct reads... at least from what i have played thus far... aside from that it seems basic running is harder and basic throwing is easier... doesn't play to my style but eh.

Checked those out too and they're the same. It's all good though because I always go in and make ND's roster accurate anyway. Just sucks the numbers got switched so I can't make eilar and gaIII both #4 anymore...unless someone has a trick for doing so.
