The guy wants to play a season with his son and he gets shit for it. Whatever. There's no end. People don't like the guy. Fine. There comes a point where you start faulting people for merely breathing, then the problem lies with you. Mind you, these are typically people formulating these opinions who also freely admit "I don't watch the NBA" and miss the clotheslines and fist fights of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
The Laker job is one of the biggest in sports. Phil Jackson walked away from it. A couple of times. The Zen Master, one of the more laid back and relaxed guys you'd ever find on an NBA bench. Mostly because of peyote, but I digress. It's very high profile, very west coast, very boiler room.
Dan Hurley never played a minute in the NBA and has coached Wagner, Rhode Island and UConn. This might be a very self aware individual that decided the job was too big for him. Yet, somehow again, the wind blows in LeBron's direction.
