Pretty sure USC is proof enough that we haven't just been feasting on cupcakes...
Yes but this is a very good team that can ruin it late season for us. 2013 memories still sting. We have a good win with usc but we also have a lot of mediocrity with our wins this year. This is a huge game that can show if we really deserve to stay in the conversation or. It.

Great win. Offense was really good. 7/8 in drives that mattered.

No penalties. Very clean.

7/7 on PATs.

Defense is maybe not quite elite, yet, but they are trending in that direction. The defense that has stepped on the field from halftime against Purdue on is really good. Big test again next week.

We're on a 7 game win streak and against to Pittsburgh with a full head of steam. Every week is a playoff for us since game 3, but this is really a playoff type game. Bring our A game and the finish line is in sight.

Terrific defensive effort tonight. Ausberry, KVA, Johnson and Hughes all flashed tonight. In the second half, they completely clamped down on the Navy option. Aside from a couple of Woodson scrambles in the first half, it was as good a defensive performance against the triple option as we have seen from Notre Dame since the early 90s.

Carr was on point tonight, though I would like to see him take some of the underneath stuff from time to time (on the pass where Pauling was bumped by the safety who dropped off when Raridon stayed in to block, he had Faison wide open on a square in for a first down). His touch on deep throws is terrific, though. Love is a walking highlight reel. Malachi Fields is a QBs best friend with his physicality and catch radius.

Eric Schmidt looked competent tonight, which is light years ahead of where they were a week ago.

Here's hoping that the injury report is limited this week - next weekend will be a battle.

If we win out we will be top 5
I do wonder what our upper limit is. When I had tossed this thought around for a few moments the other day I thought maybe 7, but I didn't do any research or look at schedules.

If we get there I don’t want to be like IU, SMU, UT, or Clemson I want to show we can still compete when we are there & the days of us getting into big games in the post season by the skin of our teeth & being overmatched and embarrassed are over.

That long td by Love was insane. I think I've only ever seen that happen on a tackle/not tackle a few times, but never for a long td like that.

Oddly enough no Elijah Burress on the stat sheet, for those keeping track of those things
I think they already said he won't play again till playoffs to preserve the RS
