1. This was clearly a talented Navy offense, but with them turning the ball over like crazy it’s hard to know if they can play big boy football. A lot of those turnovers had nothing to do with the defense.

2. A healthy Jordan Faison will be a weapon. He separates better than the other WRs and has YAC potential.

3. Really impressed how Riley Leonard bounced back from bad plays and mistakes by others. He’s a playmaker for sure, just has to continue improving with his finesse.

4. Love is special, but Young might be “that guy” once Love gets drafted. Tough runner with explosive first step and good balance.

Shame we don’t get a second year of Leonard.

We’re not only in “Just win” mode, we’re also in “Win, but with style” mode. Today satisfies both of those.

Both of Navy’s scores were aided by VERY questionable penalties. I felt the defense played well.

Obviously Navy’s pass defense wasn’t highly lauded coming into the game, but RL played a tremendous game today.

Great win.

Navy's best opponent was Memphis. Knew they wouldn't hang with ND today.

RL was really good, the rush game was what we expected, and the D did what we knew they would do.

Take a week off, then smear FSU. Go Irish

50 burger is always good.

Navy didn’t turn the ball over all season (ok they had 2, but that’s my point). Many will point to Navy being sloppy, and I’d agree. But I will also say, that sometimes that’s what happens when you play a quality opponent. You get tense, you make mental mistakes, you do dumb shit when you have to try to play perfect.

Navy gashed us on a couple runs. But honestly, you’re going to have that against this kind of offense. It was the ability to buckle down when it mattered that counts most.

OL is getting better each week.

RB depth is unreal.

Love a healthy Faison.

That offensive system for Navy is nuts. Just watching those mass motions was confusing.

Besides that end this series:

There is no benefit to the program, we have paid back our debt a hundred fold. The way navy plays is just asking to get hurt and we have to change everything around just to face them. Not worth it, traditionalists can say what they want but this is a pointless series.

I didn’t get to watch the game but was keeping up with the score on my phone during travel ball and this game went exactly how I would want this game to go. Win by 4+ score and hope no big injuries. I will watch it later.

Defensive MVP was Navy’s offense…LOL. Seriously though, even if the fumbles weren’t forced how many times has it bounced the other way back into the hands of the offense in previous games?

When game was still competitive it looked like Horvath was targeting Christian Gray & having success.

Hopefully, Mukam isn’t seriously injured. Hated seeing another defender limp off the field. Looked like Rubio was limping out of the pile but he remained in the game.

When I see RL scramble & then break contain on a 3rd & long, I‘m glad ND doesn’t have to defend that. Those are the type of QBs that used to drive ND defenses crazy pre-Golden. Nice to have that advantage on the Irish side for once.

Kedren young runs like he doesnt require an OL blocking for him.

Angeli still lacks pocket awareness when it comes to pass rush.
