I also recently saw The Drama and came to the same conclusion RE: Alana Haim's character.

I really enjoyed The Drama as well. Fuck Alana Haim's character. I've not hated someone that thoroughly in a movie in quite a while.
Yes, her revelation was legitimately worse than Zendaya's and she became extremely sanctimonious.

I saw the new Spider-Man last night, it was pretty good. Reminded me a bit of the 90s tv show (in a good way)

Saw The Odyssey tonight. Robert Pattinson is such a fun actor man. Dude said "platelicker" like it was a racial slur.

"Somebody get these BEGGERS out of here!"

Odyssey was a good storytelling; however, some of the characters lacked real punch, IMO.

Risky Business.
I probably saw this when much younger. Great movie. Rebecca De Morney is...nice.
That scene when he is getting interviewed by the Princeton rep is hilarious especially the "looks like I am going to Illinois" bit. Out of nowhere the funniest line/delivery.
Cruise has so many good movies.

I'm excited for his new movie Digger because he seems to be hamming it up. I like Cruise a lot (as an actor, crazy human) but I'm always a bit sad about what happened to his career. He used to do all sorts of fun and challenging roles and then it seemed like something happened post Eyes Wide Shut/Magnolia where he just decided to play action-man for the rest of his career. He's good at being action-man and I can't blame him for getting paid but I always wanted more Interview with a Vampire type weird roles for him.

Maybe Cruise losing Best Supporting Actor for his "Magnolia" role to the "I see dead people kid" broke his spirit. So he's been doing increasingly crazy movie stunts thinking "yeah, let's see some kid actor top this!"

Took the wife and daughter to see end of oak street, my daughter is all into dinosaurs so she was hyped… it was ‘good’ but one of those movies where no character is overly likable and they all make one dumb decision after another,… Hathaway’s character was typical for her roles as I wanted her to die lol. Overall good for an evening of cheap thrills but not much beyond that

Karate Kid I and II. Daniel Son whooping ass.

Also watched Catholic vs Convicts today. Lou is/was a bad ass.

Football can’t start soon enough. Especially with what Freeman is about to roll out there.

Haven't been to the movie theatre in probably 10 years or more. Is 'The Odyssey' worth seeing on the big screen?
IMHO Yes, IMAX or 70mm. The movie theatre experience has improved a ton in the last 10 years. Especially for “epic” style movies like this or Oppenheimer.

I watched "Gremlins" last night. I haven't seen it in a while but it holds up. The creature effects are great and the movie benefits from moving along quickly, keeping a quick pace and not getting bogged down into "how is this happening?" It just goes. It was my girlfriend's first time seeing it and she really enjoyed it. It's still a little hard to believe it was marketed as a family friendly movie, especially that scene where the mother kills three Gremlins in the kitchen in seriously gruesome fashion.

I’ve been on a coen bros kick lately and watched no country and burn after reading. No country is good but I’d take there will be blood over it in their comparison for 2007 movies. I haven’t seen all of their films but Fargo is my clear #1 for them at the moment. Perfect movie

I still like Big Lebowski better than Fargo. Raising Arizona is also terribly underrated I feel.

I saw No Country for Old Men in the theater. Incredibly tense. LOL.

I liked There Will Be Blood a lot, but I liked Michael Clayton that year better than anything I saw.

I broke in my new place by firing this up with a bottle of wine. Now I've got my wife willing to have some port or madeira after dinner

My Father In Law is coming into town and I just found out he's never seen this movie. I love having a reason to rewatch it that isn't "I'm conscious."

I,… have never seen it,… it was one of my dad’s favorite movies and the only one on his list I just never got around to. It’s just one of those I’ve intended to watch since forever and just never found the right time
