Are there any true Modern Warfare 3 soldiers out there that don't play that kids version of regular core.

I'm looking for some Hardcore IE members to play with, either Hardcore TDM or Hardcore DOM. Those of you that play regular core, I don't know how you stand it, shooting someone 15 times and them still surviving makes the game more into a fantasy first person shooter. The true stars play Hardcore, none of that wimpy Core game modes. I try to make the game as realistic as possible, and empting an entire clip into someone and have them walkaway and kill me 5 seconds later makes me feel like I'm playing with a water gun.


Where are you my IE Hardcore gamers!

GB, Killz, TP, and I had some pretty bad games last night lol.

I have a .66 KD. Guessing that's not good enough for u guys lol.

I try to play with a team all the time, definitly helps to communicate, which in turn will help keep your KD up. I don't prefer a certain level of skill from players, just team members that communicate is all I ask for. Only way to hang with those that party up with 6 all the time. Then again, I'm not sure if a 2-25 can be helped GB, haha.

I have yet to try hardcore but I think I will give it a go tonight. I have been quite annoyed with shooting a guy 5 times only for him to keep running at me and blow me away with a shotgun. I was awful the first four months I played. Never bought Black Ops so I hadn't played any first person shooters since MW2. I think I was down to a .65 KD but I have continually gone up each month and am at a 1:1 right now. Hoping to keep going up.

Does hardcore suit more the run and gunner's or those that like to be more tactical? I am not a camper but I also don't really run around in the open either.

Hardcore is definitely more of a tactical matchup. There are definitely run and gunners and it can definitely still benefit you to run and gun. But with Hardcore it is more like 1-2 shots and your dead (Depending on the vest situation), it's nowhere near as bad as regular core. Also with hardcore, there is no mini-map on the bottom corner of your screen, so the silencer is not as needed as much in Hardcore to stay off the radar. It definitely takes a little more patience at first, but it is by far a lot better than regular core. You're really going to have to get use to tactically running by an opening, because a sniper shot will 1shot kill you. Grenades you need to be weary of as well, the shrapnel will definitely take care of you. Don't get frustrated, even though at first it's going to take getting use to, but once you get the hang of it, it's so much better. You will wonder why you ever played core.

Oh, and when you die, there is a bit of a longer wait on your respawn time (forget if there is one for core or not?), this gives you time if your the "killer" to relocate, instead of them respawning immediently and killing you in the same spot.

2-25 i honestly wasn't paying attention. I am not horrible nor am I that good. Getting better everyday never really played this game.

There is no age limit, if it still keeps you entertained, keep on. I mean we grew up with the start of the gaming era, I think it's our job to continue playing, it's our responsibility, ha.

lots of snipers and silenced assault rifles in hardcore. different kind of camping if you ask me. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I dont.

K/D is a very overrated stat if you ask me because it depends on how good your team is to a certain extent. My W/L ratio is pretty bad, but my K/D is average. People who play with friends and stuff will have better K/D ratios, doesnt necessarily mean they are better players though individually.
