It’ll be absolutely hilarious when both Miami and Indiana are ahead of us Tuesday. Literally nothing can justify it but it will happen.
No it won’t. Miami and Indiana both beat no one yet. Hope Miami hangs in the top 10 at least though and SMU sneaks into the top25.

A couple of take aways.

All year, the defense has been adjusting and reacting to what the opposing offense is doing. The game planning feels like adjusting to what the offense is presenting. This is the first game in 2026 that the defense said "we are going to come get you, react to us" Miami didn't have adjustments. I think this is because Freeman asserted himself into the defensive scheme.

Walton and Premier each was on the field at key times. Both are starting to understand the pass pro requirements/needs which has likely been holding each back. Walton was actually pretty good. Premier was targeted on a red zone play (if I'm not mistaken). I think that's an acknowldgement that if he can be adequate in pass pro, he offers something the other tight ends don't. If he can't be adequate, the other TE's get the snaps.

Offense still feels vanilla. I don't know if that's Carr or Dembrock. There were a few Carr check downs to receivers short of the 1st down line that were head shaking during the 3 and out portion of the game. Sometimes it feels like CJ is Kurt Cousins and just checks down to the safe play without much hope of getting a first down.
Disagree about Carr. He was clearly being ordered to minimize risk.

Anyone else listening to the Rudy soundtrack this morning?!

Also, I think there's going to be fierce outcry from many corners of college football if they rank Miami ahead of us after moving us behind them because of the H2H result last year.

People hate us, but they might hate the CFB Committee corruption even more.
Miami’s close win over FSU and close win over NC need to be looked at. We have not had close wins over anyone. Even the Miami win should have been a 2-3 score win. Nice shank on the FG.

ESPN is watching, they understand that if the committee looks too corrupt, a lawsuit will be filed by someone.

How about 23 usc game?
For games I was at I’d go.

2005 USC
Last night vs Miami
(close)Playoff Indiana

2023 USC tied 2014 Michigan

Edit; As far as a complete game atmosphere, the Stanford goal line stand as a moment is up there

Im curious to see if this unlocks a new CJ Carr.

Coming out on the winning side of a big game (and playing well in it!) could have some benefits down the road.
I think him and the whole team could be unlocked. Imagine how much pressure they have been playing with since week 2 of last year
