How much does Hinish weigh? Guy looks tiny compared to the Miami offensive line.
When I saw him speak in the captains' press conference, it took me a while to realize who he was. I shit my pants when I realized that skinny lad was a starting DT.

(This isn’t bashing Carr,… it’s about the tone of the program since what seems like forever now) no matter where it goes the team just lost again bc of not trusting the QB,… DAMN can we please for the love of fuck get past that!!! I’m sure I’m tunnel visioned but I really feel strongly in this moment that no other program with real perennial top ten aspirations has been living with that void for this long,… why is it so fucking hard to figure that positions out?? I don’t ever want to lose again bc, ‘well QB trust this or QB ability that,..,’ trust your guy or spend the money we know you have and get a real qb that can actually be trusted to do actual quarterback shit and throw the ball downfield

why does carr only get a B, he was excellent.
He has a lot of room for growth. He had a few bad throwaways. So passes off target, I think a B is a great grade. You get an A if you're in those stat lines like Burrow against Oklahoma, or Baker and Mahomes shootouts.

1. Mike Denbrock called the worst game I have seen since Parker vs Clemson in 2023. Just unreal that you would not show up trying to run it straight at them if you didn't trust Carr. While Faison had some heroic moves, none of those screens were set up for success yet we ran about 10 of them. Pure insanity.

2. The OL, as a whole, had a horrendous showing. Tons of missed assignments or just getting flat out beat in their individual matchup. Knapp is comically overrated and probably needs to be playing guard. The RG position was a disaster. Wagner going against Bain was rough but at least that guy is a projected 1st round draft pick.

3. Jury is out on Ash. Not a horrible game, only 300 yards for Miami. But when we needed a stop on the final drive we didn't get it, when Gray got knocked out for a play we somehow ended up with a true freshman 1v1 for a TD.

4. It's hard to beat top 10 teams on the road and we would've been much better off playing that game Week 8 versus Week 1.

5. CJ Carr is very good and needs to learn how to protect himself when running.
*Alexa what are some funny names for Mike Denbrock? For example: Gerry Parkour for Gerard Parker.*

Also Traore, Faison, Moore, Carr, Price. We had individual players who played tremendously well. Need to do it as a a team, is all. I think we will.
Agree 100%....was just giving props to Jordan since he tore his pec in June. I had to have that surgery done in college, and in no way would my ass of been out there playing football 2 months later

I agree, but it was Carr's first start on the road in less than ideal conditions. They should've had more faith in him to push the ball vertically. That's his strength. He played a good game and really didn't do what he's supposed to be best at

Also have to get Greathouse involved. No catches for him and he’s a game breaker.

Would love to know if he was just blanketed or what was going on. Unfortunately we'll never know because TV coverage is aimed at casuals.

Fair enough, but Im pretty sure the throwaways were because the line forgot to block and he would have been sacked anyway.

Listen I’m no savant and I’m certainly not a CFB HC or Coordinator. But if a guy is going to be your guy at QB. You let him be the guy. You let him run the playbook. Shit, that was the main advantage CJ was said to have had. Who fucking cares if he’s playing in an NFL Stadium named after a brand that was last cool in 1996. Let him run his offense.

We waited too late to do that and then both Knapp and Wagner were bent over their skis at OT and shit themselves.

Bottom line: If a dude is gonna be your dude. He has to be able to run the whole playbook. Modern CFB isn’t built for the slow roll.

1. This will be Miami's best win against a top 10 opponent. They owned the stage tonight, but are far from elite.

Which leads me to my next point.

2. Ash managed to resurrect the spirit of Bob Diaco, and Denbrock's playcalling was laughably bad, especially during critical points of the game.

Which leads me to my last point.

3. Does Freeman have the offensive chops to challenge Denbrock in any way?

Final notes:

Carr has the chops.
Rairdon and Gray are bipolar on different sides of the ball.
We used Love so poorly way too often. The line did him zero favors.
If I was Price, I'd be pissed.

PSX I know this is becoming more openly accepted in this country, but racist shit on this board needs to be instantly perma-banned.

Fuck that shit.

What is PSX short for?

All this bullshit aside I really think we’re gonna be alright.

I really do.

I second this.

We will be alright, fellas.

It's a long season. Despite some poor performances from a handful of players, and some poor play & personnel selection from the coordinators, there is a lot of talent in the room, and on the coaching staff.

11 games to go. Next week is a BYE. Enjoy next weekend as a ND stress-free one, it'll be a while before anyone gets another.
