NYT is being NYT

A lot of those deaths were due to comorbidities too, so more of a case of dying with COVID and not necessarily from COVID. It really wasn't a threat for kids, I'm glad my kids didn't get the jab.

It's Free Beacon, but they're not wrong. From that AP site:

terrorism

The calculated use of violence, especially against civilians, to create terror to disrupt and demoralize societies for political ends.

The terms terrorism and terrorist have become politicized, and often are applied inconsistently. Because they can be used to label such a wide range of actions and events, and because the debate around them is so intense, detailing what happened is more precise and better serves audiences.

Therefore, the AP is not using the terms for specific actions or groups, other than in direct quotations or when attributed to authorities or others. Instead, we describe specific atrocities, massacres, bombings, assassinations and other such actions.

On the same page is this

Hamas

An armed Palestinian militant group, Hamas governs some 2.3 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip after violently seizing control of Gaza in 2007 from the internationally recognized Palestinian Authority. It is one of the Palestinian territories' two major political parties; the other is the more moderate Fatah party.

Hamas has always espoused violence as a means to liberate occupied Palestinian territories. The group has vowed to annihilate Israel and has been responsible for many suicide bombings and other deadly attacks on civilians and Israeli soldiers.

To summarize, the AP says:
Terrorism - the calculated use of violence, especially against civilians, to create terror to disrupt and demoralize societies for political ends.
Hamas - after violently seizing control of Gaza, the group has vowed to annihilate Israel and has been responsible for many suicide bombings and other deadly attacks on civilians.
...but they're not terrorists 🤷‍♂️

He's 100% right. Twitter and most of the MSM have been little more than the propaganda arm of the Democratic party. I was just about to compare them to Pravda or Tass, but Elon beat me to it. They aren't even remotely interested in honest, fair, factual reporting. They're interested in pushing an agenda and getting a specific result, truth be damned.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of MAGA and Christians taking American hostages that were over in Israel a few weeks ago. Oh, wait, that was Hamas...
Who eats up that garbage?
I just saw this
"Brian Karem is the former senior White House correspondent for Playboy."

Left-wing media getting in on the action.

I just read an interesting piece from that site by a journalist that gave up his New York life to do reporting in the Middle East. It changed his entire perspective on the Israeli Palestine conflict. It reminded me a lot of the stories I heard from colleagues that served in the IDF before transitioning out. Some eye opening stuff on the reporting coming out of the region.

I found these comments interesting.

Too often, they place the blame for Palestinian suffering on Israel, rather than, say, the callousness and corruption of Palestinian leaders, who clearly bear a large part of the blame for their people’s pain. These groups each have their own agenda, but since their public-facing persona is appealing, since they cast themselves as the spokesmen for the oppressed, most liberals living in the U.S. and Europe take them at their word.
News publishers these days target millennials on social media who’d rather see their own opinions validated than see an article that’s balanced and objective. These audiences don’t want to have their biases challenged.
